Loch Ness Café

et oui le bar! le meilleur lundi soir de la région. En plus bières, resto et bar. il faut y aller.

Maybe it’s just cos I’m common but I thought this pub was great. Yeah it’s brash, yeah it’s got a Scottish name but is actually an Irish themed pub, yeah the drinks are overpriced and everyone stares at the English people (ok, it’s the lamest thing ever to go to a British pub while trying to get some French culture in, you know, France) but whatever. Lively, friendly staff, can get a cab late at night.

This place would have got less stars if it wasn’t for them finding us a taxi to take us home when we had exhausted all other options! We initially went and decided not to stay — a bit like a bar you might find on the Costa del Sol (or so I imagine) only with no Brits and only locals. They all seemed to be having a very good time listening to the Beatles on the Terrace. We wanted something a little more authentic but ended up in a very similar around the corner — it seems British themed bars are the only bars you can find in Cavaillon! It did look quite like an old English pub so it scores on that and the prices are very much English! Its not somewhere you should go out of your way to visit but if you are in Cavaillon late at night there are worse places you could have a drink!

It’s a nice pub, wonderful atmosphere and people (staff and guests) are relly welcoming !!!
Ok things might have changed I was there 2 years ago :-(
But anyway it’s nice to find places here again :-)
