I can’t complain about the food. As you can see from the picture the pancakes were very good. I will however complain about the cleanliness of the place. There was dog hair everywhere, on the table mats, the serviettes, in the glasses, on the cutlery. Shocking really. I will also say the coffee was the worst I had in Chamonix. Hot brown water is a good description.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Delicious, we went for dinner and had a reservation was pretty busy.
Great beer and wine selection, great prices. I loved the burger. Steak not so much.

Delicious and simple dishes, large portions that are great for what you’re paying. We got the macaroni and cheese which was good, but the vegetable puff pastry dish was amazing! Kind staff and great food, we definitely would recommend to friends

If you’re looking for amazing food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner… This is the place to be! Service is top notch and English friendly. My wife and I are staying in chamonix for a week and we have been here 3 times already. Definitely going to be stopping here again before we leave.
For breakfast, the silver spoon dish is amazing. The toast they give you is perfectly toasted too. I am trying the French toast today and I’m sure it will be great.
For dinner, the chicken and rib eye are delicious. My wife and I will be coming over for lunch tomorrow :)

LOVE this place. My husband and I were in France for our honeymoon and after a week we were craving some food reminiscent of home. As an appetizer we ordered the hummus and house made bread, it was better than some hummus I’ve had in California. I ordered the chicken breast with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. It tasted JUST like something my mom used to make. My husband ordered the daily special of ribeye steak, potatoes and veggies; I think he would have licked the plate if he could. The staff was very friendly and our waiter even gave us some recommendations on adventures in town. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I just had an amazing breakfast at Bighorn. This review is based on one time/​item but I think it goes for the place in general. The egg/​sausage/​peppers dish I got was fresh and seasoned just right. The coffee (americano) was spot on and the views from the back porch (they also have a front patio) were great. Service was friendly and timely. I need to go back for dinner.

My friend and I were traveling from Paris to Chamonix for a nice summer weekend in the mountains. We discovered this gem as we were walking past and knew we had to stop in.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is prepared fresh and we even got a chance to swap travel stories with one of the bakers. American friendly. I would recommend to anybody in Chamonix.

Really, really good home cooked food. The barbequed chicken was amazing. Friendly and relaxed staff and atmosphere. Good quality food for a good price! Highly recommended!
