I didn’t know that I liked white wine until a couple of years ago and I have the Puligny-Montrachet region to totally open my eyes on that. Well I’ve found another comparable find, the adjacent Chassagne-Montrachet wines. Notably, the Domaine Ramonet Chaumees 2004. Equally complex, mineral, floral and smooth all at the same time. I can’t say that you won’t pay a pretty penny for it, but a Grand Cru is designated so for a reason.
