Best Western

Fantastic boutique hotel under the Best Western banner. Have stayed here two years in a row, to be close to a trade show at the Expo.
Very friendly, helpful, and multi-​lingual staff (including English) makes each stay a breeze. Great breakfast buffet (and dinner selections) at the on-​site restaurant. Rooms are new, clean, organized, quiet, and dark when the drapes are drawn (easy to rest whenever you need that jet lag nap). Bathrooms have awesome roomy showers and clean linens. Zero problems to report.
Workout room and on-​site bar near the lobby. Later this year an on-​site spa will be opening.
Located about halfway from airport /​TGV train station and center of Lyon. But easy access to the center of Lyon by public transportation (city bus to Metro station then Metro to downtown or other destinations — which is what I did at the suggestion of the front desk staff). Or… have the front desk call a cab (but that can be 20 minutes wait time).
Highly recommended for anyone needing a comfy and reliable room close to the Expo site!

Je né connaissais pas les Bestwestern «+», la version supérieure du bestwestern.
Un grand hall d’entrée à la déco épurée, un bar à cocktail.
Les chambres sont grandes, hyper confortables avec une douche à l’italienne. Un plateau de courtoisie avec thé ou café pour la touché plus.
Le personnel est très accueillant.
Vous pouvez dîner en chambre (le resto est d’ailleurs très bien!) moyennant 5 € supplémentaires sur les prix de la carte.
Je n’ai pas testé le petit dej car j’avais plus faim après mon repas de la veille mais je me serais bien laissée tenter vue la qualité des autres prestations!
