An absolute gem! Spent at least two hours every day of my trip to this area sitting outside here just soaking up the real France with a glass or two of beer in the afternoon before grocery shopping in the local market for the makings of a home cooked, slow food dinner. Come here on a Saturday morning when the farmer’s market is going on and take an outside table and watch the town in action. The people watching is just to die for! After about two days the staff come to know you and start to treat you like you are a local and you yourself start to recognize the town characters and interact with them. The food is basic but very good, the company is great and the view is adorable, Located in the heart of a working medieval market town, with a newsagents and a tabac to anchor the market square, you couldn’t ask for more. Vive la «real» France!!!
