What a wonderful experience, our tour guide was amazing, warm, and very informative. We went to two champagne houses. One was Moët & Chandon which was really awesome being the maker of Dom Pérignon, the other was a smaller house that was more experimental using oak barrels to give a wonderful flavor. Lunch was a tasting with food paring, 3 different types of champaign made with the 3 types of grapes: Pinot Noir(a red variety) Pinot Meunier(a red variety related to Pinot Noir) Chardonnay(a white variety) This helped in identifying the varietals that we would look for when buying champaign the store. Our guide told us in how to decipher the labels on the bottle. We also got to stop by the church were the monk Dom Pérignon discovered champaign. Only the columns are left but his grave and his spirt are there and makes you feel all bubbly inside.
I would recommend this tour group for this region, plus the van was really comfortable.
