My dining companions and I had the great pleasure of dining here this evening. The staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating of such a large party(six adults and one baby). Our server(who may have also been the manager) was Tony and he truly went above and beyond. We came here on the night before a friend’s wedding from all corners of the United States, only meeting for the first time earlier that day. Our French skilled ranged from«nothing» to «just the bit we could recall from high school» and I am sure even the words we thought we knew, we probably killed with poor pronunciation. Tony happily provided us with a few English menus(not as comprehensive or as detailed as the real menu in French, but helpful), and even broke out his iPad to show us a couple pictures of dishes he happened to snap beforehand, which help immensely. I got the scallops with a Marsala sauce and potatoes(terrific!) and a sweet white wine. My husband ordered a salad, however when it came, it was topped with heaps of potatoes as well, much to his surprise. He’s not a carb person, so I was worried her was disappointed, but it was so well-made, he devoured it and loved ever bite. We finished our meal with a chocolate and Chantilly crème crêpe topped with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Perfect! Our dinner mates were equally pleased with their meals and desserts. Tony happily divided the bill into four payments for us so we could pay separately, saying it wasn’t a problem at all. The entire time he joked with the most gregarious gentleman in our party, cooed at our daughter, and went out of his way to make sure our orders were correct and our experience happy. The food is fabulous, but the way he treated visitors with limited French vocabulary really amazed me. Highly, highly recommend!
