Sports Bar

While the sports bar was a nice set up with a very large television it however only showed one sporting event. We were there during the World Cup and want to watch the Mexico match but they said they were only going to show the Spain match even though it was after the Mexico match. This seems insane given the fact we’re watching some limited tennis match from some part of Europe instead of live World Cup matches. The food was mediocre at best but they did have pizza and other things the kids like. So if you want a cold beer and mediocre barfood and they happen to be playing the game you want to see this could be a nice place.

Die Sports Bar befindet sich im Disney Village, gegenüber vom Kings Ludwigs Castle.
Wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, so ist die Bar auch designt. Trikots, Bälle, Schläger, viele Sportartefakte hängen an den Wänden. Große LCD-​Monitore übertragen aktuelle Sportereignisse oder zeigen welche aus der Konserve.
Das Essen ist amerikanisch rustikal. Burger, Sandwich & Co. werden hier großgeschrieben und eher schlicht auf Plastikgeschirr serviert.
Die Getränke-​Auswahl ist ok, aber auch recht teuer. Die Cocktails sind nicht groß, schmecken zwar, und sind mit 10 Euro im Durchschnitt auch nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen.
Abends ist die Bar meist recht voll. Gerade auch wenn Fußball live übertragen wird.
Der Service vor und hinter der Bar ich freundlich und man kommt mit Englisch gut weiter.
Disney ist ja bekannt dafür, immer darauf bedacht zu sein, ein sauberes Image zu haben. Dies treibt dann sogar in einer Bar seltsame Blüten. Der Cocktail «Sex on the Beach» heißt hier dann nämlich «Fun on the Beach»! ;-))

Avec l’Agape café, un des rare bars où il y a de l’ambiance dans le coin !
J’ai eu de très bon souvenirs ici avec des finales de coupe du monde et de champions league.
On peut aussi manger un morceau, c’est la bouffe Disney dans il né faut pas s’attendre au nirvana non plus.

Le cocktail: cactus Jack est excellent. le service est rapide et de bonne qualité.
Pour les fans de sports, beaucoup sont télévisés sur plusieurs écrans dont un géant.

Of all the places in Disney Village, I found the Sports Bar the best place to grab a pint while there. They have a good selection of beers from all over. You can get a Guinness, Budweiser, or Corona here along with all the local and French beers as well. It is like the name says, a bar, which is a different environment in most of Paris where it is all café style and you can’t just sit down on a bar stool and grab a pint. The staff were very friendly and all spoke fluent English. We even ran into the bartender from our hotel who also works here, he was sound! We came here all three days of our visit and only once had an incident. On the Tuesday afternoon there was a middle aged blond lady with glasses who had a real attitude problem and took her time serving us and kept giving us dirty looks. She disappeared after a couple hours on the first day though and we didn’t see her again. I can only imagine that the fate that befell her sister must have caught up with her as well and a house fell on her. Either way, it was a great spot for a pint sure.
