Le Saint Romain was just 10 steps away from our hotel and we decided to give it a try for lunch. It not only has a simple restaurant/​bar, good outdoor seating, but also an epicerie inside for those small things you might be needing.
Food: They have a little bit of everything. We ordered the Provencale salad, salad verte and frite maison. The Provencale salad exceeded expectations. It had a small glass of gazpacho, cheese, ham, lettuce and other vegetables. The frites were a bit soggy.
Drinks: We ordered a bottle of water and an orangina.
Price: 24.50 euros for for two people which is reasonable for this area.
Ambiance: There wasn’t much of an ambiance. Feels like a local hangout.
Service: The service was good and friendly. Our food came out pretty quickly. They even brought out a bowl of water for our dog without us asking for it which I thought was nice.
Would I go back? Yes, I would go back for lunch.
