La Frelonnière

A wonderful experience. My family stayed here for over a week and didn’t want to leave (our two year old never even got bored)! The house is on an estate set among hiking trails, lakes, gardens and all sorts of wildlife. The house is fully and beautifully furnished with a great fireplace and a first rate kitchen. The beds are comfy and the views are superb… what else can you ask for? The proprietors were very kind and helpful by offering excellent recommendations for restaurants and sites in the local area. Moreover, they treated us like family. The nearby town (La Ferte St Cyr) has an amazing bakery and a butcher offering European-​wide award winning boudin blanc (white pork sausage). Just further, the town of Beaugency offers: a weekly farmers’ market, nice restaurants and shoppes that will keep you as busy or relaxed as you like. First-​rate location, lodging and experience!
