Campanile

Let me say first that the room was quite nice, and, as promised on the website. Clean and efficient. A bit nicer than I expected.
But… the location of this hotel feels very remote. We arrived at about 10:00 pm, but everything was already pretty much locked down, including the hotel restaurant. And shortly after we checked in, reception closed as well.
We also had not noticed that there was a gate across the entrance to the parking lot, which closed at some point during the night. There was a rather cryptic code on our room key that told us how to open the gate, but reception wasn’t open yet, and we had trouble figuring that all out without «bothering» the morning staff person who had to come let us out.
It’s sort of an awkward property, which would have been OK had the staff gone a bit father to be helpful, OR had we KNOWN to plan our itinerary more closely around THEIR reception hours. Seems a bit antithetical for a hotel intended for weary road travelers!

Nicht weit von der Autobahn, ideales Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp auf der Reise weiter in den Süden! Die Zimmer haben alle im Stil eines amerikanischen Motels einen einen Zugang nach außen, perfekt wenn man wie ich mit einem Hund unterwegs ist! Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Preis top!
