Hotel Ibis Paris Issy les Moulineaux Val de Seine

i stayed at this little hotel because i was on a tour, which is not a regular thing for me (more about that on the ef tours review).
the hotel is clean, quaint, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is great! the rooms are typical european in that they are small, but alas! that is europa!
it is a little out of the city, so if you are wanting a place to drop bags whilst shopping, take rest breaks, sip tea, etc., during the middle of the day, it is probably not a good choice.
given that i was touring paris nonstop, it was fine. and… from the eiffel tower, it is only a e13 (approx $ 13) cab ride, so it is not too terribly far out.
the value was great! although i was on a tour, i opted at the last minute for my own private room, which i booked directly online, and it was very inexpensive and the process was very efficient!
so…i would highly recommend this hotel if you are not planning on hanging about in your hotel room. this is a large chain, so until i hit the lotto (and get escorted by private driver to the paris ritz penthouse) i will definitely check out staying at another ibis in the city.
