The best meal we ate on our month long trip through France. The meal, service, and view were superb. Highly recommended!

Yes, it’s on the slightly more expensive side — 30 Euros per person plus wine — but the value is there. It was an EXCELLENT meal. I was in France for 3 weeks just recently and had lots of fine meals but this one stands out. So if it seems expensive, make it your splurge meal.
The hotel was also quite nice and moderate in price. 78 Euros and a very nice room overlooking the river.

It’s been two years since I went to this delightful restaurant and the experience has stayed with me. Truly a meal that I will remember for a lifetime. Superb food, excellent service, and a beautiful view from the terrace. Pricey but worth it for the meal and the memory.

Most amazing french cuisine experience during our drive thru the french countryside.
Make sure to call ahead for a reservation. If they have it… you must try the fresh home-​made fois gras. Will definitely be back!

Plutôt bon
Joli cadre et personnel très prévenant. Nous avons apprécié le consommé aux cèpes offert au début du repas. Le foie gras était bon, mais pas le plus goûteux que nous ayons mangé dans le Périgord. Canard Rossini très bon. Pour le dessert, le gâteau au chocolat était banal. Par contre, mon mari a trouvé son vacherin délicieux. Plutôt cher.

Restaurant gastronomique à la Roque Gageac. Très bonne table, Plats raffinés. Très bon accueil, salles très agréables et vue sur la Dordogne.
Pensez à réserver car c’est toujours plein.
Le restaurant est ouvert seulement en période estivale.

Ein wirklich hübsches Städtchen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, da jedoch nachts sowieso nicht los ist, war es trotzdem ruhig. Wir hatten von unserem (sauberen) Zimmer einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Dordogne. Das Restaurant hatte leider Ruhetag, als wir dort übernachtet haben, deshalb dazu kein Kommentar
