Bar de quartier qui né paye pas de mine mais bien agréable. Accueil très sympathique qui met à l’aise. Tout simple et ça fait pas de mal en passant.

I just went here for the first time on Monday, so I doubt it was a «typical night,» but I thought I would leave a review anyway. My bf and I took a table and we both ordered the«punch» — for 2 Euros/glass, I figured we might as well try it. It was a fruity rum punch but I thought it tasted like singed plastic, so we switched to beer after that. We were pretty much left alone, but not in a rude, when-are-you-going-to-leave way. The atmosphere was super laid-back and it was very quiet. Besides us, there were some men seated at the bar who, judging by their chatting with the bartender, were local and regulars, and there was also a group of 20– or 30-somethings at another table. There was music playing in the background from I’m guessing an iPod or something. There is a record player behind the bar though, so I’m curious if they ever break out their vinyl collection. When we left, my bf started talking with the bartender, who told us that they sometimes have live music on Friday nights, and sometimes will show concert footage or other live recordings.(I wonder if they ever play Dark Side of the Moon over Wizard of Oz? I should suggest that next time we go in.) The bartender was very friendly; when we told her that we were new residents of the neighborhood, she welcomed us and offered to help if we ever needed anything. I was touched! All in all, I doubt this will ever be my favorite bar in Lyon, but it’s close to home and I will definitely go back.

Un bar musical très sympathique, qui reçoit réguliérement des groupes(tendance rock, blues, etc.). La clientèle est surtout constituée d’habitués, mais tout le monde est bien accueilli.
