Come on, you’re in France, get over yourself. If you’re on a budget, not afraid to take public transportation or walking up tiny staircases to get to your tiny room then this is the place to be when wanting to spend time in Paris. Seriously, the rooms were clean, the bathrooms were functional (although if you’re taller than 5’7″ good luck getting clean in the tiny shower). I was hardly in my room other than to sleep and shower. Paris is one of the best cities in the world and this is a little ways outside but a perfect place for exploring.
The owner is awesome and although he has a curfew, he really took care of us when our train was delayed and we arrived after the 11pm curfew (closer to 12 or 1am). We had a great experience and I would probably stay here again if I was looking for a great deal. Plus, they have free Wi-​Fi.
