I enjoyed my week at these Apart’Hotels. The receptionist spoke very little English both times I went down, so make sure you have a French speaker with you. Room rates are reasonable, location is quite good, right across from a bakery, near a Monoprix, and a very short walk to the Castellane Metro where there’s a lot of restaurants and the Prado market. It’s out of downtown but not too far out. The queen beds are actually two twin beds put together with a fitted sheet holding them together. So there’s a seam, but you won’t fall in the crack. Not all of the rooms have A/C and the A/C is super loud so you might just sleep with the window open; unfortunately Rue de Rouet is also super loud at night. So that’s the big problem and why the stars are at 3 and not 4. All the rooms come with fully equipped mini kitchens, including a microwave which is also an oven(there’s a teeny coil grill thing on the ceiling of the microwave) and a range with two stove spaces which are way too close together to actually use two at a time. Pots, pans, silverware, plates, just about everything you could need is there. Mine was missing a cutting board and friends were missing various things(colander, big knife) but overall it was nice to cook in the room and use our mini fridge. There’s a very nice patio in the courtyard outside the hotel where you can sit, drink some wine, smoke, eat, whatever. So overall, very good location, good prices, I really like the kitchen part, and try to ask for a room not facing Rue de Rouet(there’s a pedestrian walkway on one side of the hotel which is much quieter), and you might even get a little balcony!
