Forest Hill

We arrived at 2pm which was the time for check in, however the room wasn’t ready so we had to wait half an hour. They said the guests before us requested to stay an hour later. It didn’t seem like that was the case when they finally let us go to our room. The maids were still working in the hallway. Did everyone on this floor left late? Minus half a star
When we came back to the room the first day, I noticed someone came into our room while we were out. I was the last one to use the bathroom so I know I didn’t put the lid down let alone put a trash can on top. Husband said it’s probably because we didn’t put a do not disturb sign up. Why did they need to come in when they’ve just cleaned it? Seems fishy to me. Today, we remembered to put the sign on the door but they still came in to make the bed and empty the trash. What’s the point of having a sign if they aren’t going to abide it? Minus one star.
The shower ran hot and cold when my husband showered. I couldn’t get it to be more than lukewarm. Minus another half a star.
My shoulder hurts from sleeping on the hard bed but it was a double and not two twins pushed together. I may have slept on it wrong. The front reception area is in the back where the parking lot is. It was hard to find. Just go throughout the side entrance or the parking lot. Minus half a star.
Good stuff: it’s conveniently located near bus stops and metro. The mall is near there but kind of far to walk.
