Having been to the mighty Twickenham exactly a week ago, I was pleased to have the pleasure and honour of watching one of my best friends captain his team to a demanding but well deserved victory. Parc du Sport is not only residence to the home it’s professional rugby team; Narbonne, but is open to the community to those who have an eye or indeed an arm or leg for competitive sport! Orange et Noir covers the 11’000 capacity stadium. The rugby pitch is encircled by an athletics track, there are 2 tennis courts, a football, 2 basketball courts and a play around for your wee ones, and that’s just the starter! Meandering it’s way beneath my feet the la parc is kitted out with an underground assortment of gyms, spinning rooms, break out areas and even offers yoga and pilate classes. However the best bit of all(se moi) is that a glass of wine cost € 1.50 happy happy days. And because because it France even the«cheap» wine is wonderful! There is also an area that serves food such as burgers, sandwiches and chips or should I say frites(said with a French accent of course!)
