I had a really wonderful Salade Nicoise here the other evening. It was very good. Nice people, good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it if you’re in Nice.

The waitstaff speaks English and they have an English menu.
I got the Moules Frites (Mussels and Fries). The mussel portion was very big. The mussels were slightly sweet and delicious. The fries were steak cut fries. They gave me a jar of mayo tubes (which I assumed was for the fries), the mayo tasted like miracle whip.

4 July 2015 and I was hoping for a nice meal after a day of driving from the Dordogne region that morning. One of our party ordered a Quattro Fromaggio (4 cheese) pizza and another one ordered linguini carbonara. I ordered a grilled fish. This restaurant was really busy which is normally a good sign. It also had an average of 4 stars on Unilocal.They took a long time to come around to take our order. Then they took a long time to bring out the food. They brought out the bread half way though our meal, almost as an afterthought. The pizza was okay but hard to mess up such a simple pizza. The pasta was nothing special. The fish was only half cooked, being still raw in the middle. I showed it to the waiter who took it away immediately and said he would bring out another. After another wait, a new plate came out but with only a very small piece of fish to replace the half of my uneaten fish. Then when I signalled for the bill, the waiter said, «yes, check» acknowledging the request! but then it took a long while for the bill to come out. I am North American, and I get the French style of taking ones time to enjoy dinner and linger and savour the moment, but when the food is not worth savouring and the service is lacking then I just want to get out of there and get on with my day.

We had moules, salad and crepes here. My daughter loved the moules. Food quality is above the average. Service is fast and friendly.

Nice personel & environment. They offer tasty food. Price is good if u compare it with other restaurants around, u have good choices of food below 10 € and many coktails of 9 €. Loved the french fries, very well made. We were sitting inside and they just closed both doors when I still felt cold.

For a restaurant right dead center of the tourist trap, this place has the relatively most reasonable prices. The quality of the food is just par for a tourist trap brasserie. It’s nothing to write home about. But here I am, writing home.
Ordered the Moules-​frites. Would have preferred a higher frites to mussels ratio, but it’s ok. The focus should be on the massive bucket of mussels anyway. I thought the broth was a little too salty. The quality of the mussels themselves directly correlate to the cost/​quality and location. I’ve had much better, but this did fine in a pinch.
What you get here is a perfect spot to people watch. Shoppers are coming through here non-​stop. Hang out with the free wifi and Unilocal on.
