Accueil sympathique, serveuse aimable, souriante et conseillère.
Plats :
Noix de St Jacques à la crème de chorizo: bon plat à éviter pour les affamés.
Parillada de poissons: bon plat aussi, je conseil les frites faites maison en accompagnement car elles sont délicieuses.

The view from the patio of Le Marlin is gorgeous. Sometimes restaurants with such obvious location appeal end up lacking in the food department and I think that describes Le Marlin.
For a seafood restaurant in a city so close to Italy, Im a little surprised the prawn risotto wasn’t better. I’ve definitely had much better risotto back home in Vancouver and in Seattle. The prawns were fine but the risotto was greasy and lacked flavour. It mostly tasted of salt. The service was fine. I noticed most places in Nice, especially in touristy areas ensure their servers speak English, which is definitely a perk for us non-Francophiles.

My dining experience here was one the best times during my visit to Nice! The entire staff was very accommodating and the food was divine! My group ordered the mussels, the crab salad, the salmon and a ton of other dishes. They were all amazing. Our hostess was fabulous!
Mon expérience à manger ici était l’un des meilleurs moments lors de ma visite à Nice! L’ensemble du personnel était très accommodant et la nourriture était divine !! Mon groupe a commandé les moules, la salade de crabe, le saumon et une tonne d’autres plats. Ils étaient tous incroyable. Notre hôtesse était fabuleux!

Had an early dinner here back in July. Ordered moules frites and a chocolate mousse, both were fantastic. Also got a fantastic deal on fabulous house wine, just a few euros for a glass! Staff was friendly and let me try my French out on them.
Ambiance is great, right along the Quai with lots of people/cars/boats to watch as you eat. Outside has a beautiful view of the docks and the château across the port. Highly recommended for a lovely, casual outdoor meal.

Great place! We really enjoyed our meal here on our honeymoon trip. I had the fixed price dinner (€ 27). The servers were extremely nice and made us feel welcome. Since it was a Monday night, the chef came out and said hello to the diners and neighbors walking their dogs. It felt like a very nice, well run local establishment. As for the food, the garlic butter infused mussels were awesome. The entrée had an assortment of salmon, sea bass, and a massive prawn over mi. The prawn was the highlight of that course — it almost tasted like lobster. Lastly, they have a great dessert sampler. Lemon lime sorbet, strawberry/melon granita, and chocolate mousse. The sorbet and granita were excellent. Highly recommended.

UNE PEPITE RARE…
Une agréable découverte gastronomique pour le 1er de l an chinois ou Amandine, la jeune chef de ce restaurant, nous a servi un canard en déclinaison de 4 plats: un grand moment. Le talent est là et né demande qu à évoluer car elle est douée, jeune et sympathique. A profiter pleinement avant qu elle né rentre dans le sérail…

This was the best restaurant on the row with the nicest waitress. The Duck and the swordfish were excellent as was the squash blossom. Profiteroles are the best dessert.

Parfait !
Une petite terrasse sur le port de Nice qui a tout d’une grande Accueil et service aussi simples que charmants. Et des moules fraiches de bouchot assorties de frites fraiches a 14 € absolument delicieuses. Une adresse comme on en trouve trop peu helas ! Pour nous qui sommes gourmands meme la quantite etait tres bien et tout est fait maison…
