Shame on the Louis Vuitton store in Nice! Terrible terrible service. Just like with many things in life, you don’t find out the true nature of a company or a person until something goes wrong. A bag that we owned for just over a year broke, broken zipper. First of all, why does a Louis bag break so fast? It’s gotten regular use and nothing out of the ordinary. I pay this money to get great quality and great service, clearly this brand lacks in both departments.
You would think they would fix the problem, right? Absolutely not, they don’t have employees who can fix the bag or assist you with getting it repaired. The salesperson we spoke to mislead us on numerous accounts. First told us that LV would provide a replacement bag to wear while the product is being fixed. When we said, let’s do it at this store, she said no, nothing will be provided and she had no idea how soon the bag could be fixed, or fixed at all. A simple zipper! That’s all.
Finally, we are told to come in at a time when the other employee who can fix bags is working. We are told to come back on a day when that employee is not even working! The employees here are completely incompetent, she does not know how to help people. This was the worst experience and last time I ever come back into a LV store or buy their product.

It is a fabulous boutique! Of course, Nice is the perfect location for a high end store.
This boutique is just a short walk off the Promenade des Anglais. So when strolling on this famous Promenade, checking out the view… and le monde chic, return down the next street and stop at Louis Vuitton, if not to purchase, at least to be «seen». ;-)

This location was very close to my hotel and about a five minute walk. They had exactly what I was looking for and I snatched my bag up immediately. The staff were very helpful. They gave me the paperwork I needed for the no tax charge since I’m from the US. I should’ve taken advantage and gotten myself a wallet too. This location is very nice and is located in a strip of other shopping stores. Very close to the beach.

Great service, quick and efficient especially when you’re on a time crunch!
