La Victorine is a must as a restaurant and experience. The food is great, I had lunch today, I had the«Chevre salad» and my friend had the«exotic salad» with ice cream for desert. We sat outside under large umbrella and comfortable chairs. The menu is full of French specialties and the prices are cheap for the experience. I thought all the waitresses were very nice and polite. They gave us little pieces of pizza to nibble at the beginning of the meal, that were really good. Most«entrees» are served with an all you can eat vegetable buffet. Keep in mind you’re in France, so the choice is limited to three different veggies, but that were really good. I tasted the«Gratin Dauphinois» and the«Ratatouille» and I can tell you that the product is made of fresh veggies and produce. I highly recommend the restaurant for the food. I was told that during the weekend, they have evening theme parties, where you eat and dance late into the night. The Victorine is famous for being the film studios where Jean-Luc Godard and Francois Truffaut worked for many decades. In front and around the restaurant you will see remains of fake houses and stores.
