I used to go the the «old» hippocampe (sea horse in French), not far away from the current place.
I have always be happy with their food: very fresh seafood, always well prepared and seasoned.
It’s not the cheapest place around Palavas Casino but it’s definitely one of the best value for money and high quality food you’ll find in this tiny area (I have been trying pretty much all restaurants around).
The owner is very friendly. He’ll play guitar and jam with customers, especially in evenings.
A big plus for razor clams «plancha» (pan fried with garlic, herbs and olive oil).
