Came here twice. once for breakfast and once for a snack(crêpe)! Breakfast: I had a seat inside one early morning to have some French breakfast. Though I had a hankering for a crêpe, they were not selling these at the moment. Apparently the crêpe guy has to be in. Instead, our table ordered the Croque Mousier, Croque Mediterranean, and some fried eggs. The Croques were OVERLY cheesey. I love cheese, I really do… but this was too much. I felt like the only thing I was eating was cheese! Although the flavoring of fresh tomatos and olives int he Mediterranean was quite nice and refreshing! The fried eggs were. well. eggs. Nothing special. Snack: It was around 11pm and the crêpe guy was out to play. His stand is in the corner of the restaurant entrance. And although the restaurant was closed, he was open for business. Maybe he rents this space as a kiosk from the restaurant? I don’t know. but all I wanted was some french crepes! For a little over 4 € I got to witness a fresh nutella and banana crêpe made right in front of my eyes! Made fresh to order, and not shy on the ingredients! It smelled great, and tasted even better! YUM!

mediocre food, great service and a nice environment. enjoyed the change of having a side salad served, the cold water and the waiter fluent in english and being friendly towards tourists.

_________________ I live close by, so I come here for the crepes; I don’t think I’d really recommend going OUT of your way to come here, but if you want a really good nutella & banana & coconut crêpe, I can guarantee that you’ll get a good one here :) The man always makes them fresh(no reheating pre-made crepes!) and delicious. There’s just something really appealing about eating a freshly-made, really warm crêpe when it’s cold out. No delay from when it’s done to when it’s in your hand(except when you’re fishing for your euro coins in your wallet to hand over). I’ve eaten at the restaurant, too, but it’s not really spectacular. Then again, it’s not very expensive, either, so I’d say it’s quite good for the price(Parisian pricing, that is). :)
