C’est magnifique! My favorite couscous place in Paris that I always drop by when I’m in the city of lights. Next door to another couscous place and nestled in the Latin Quarter, it’s easy to pass by so follow a map and enjoy. The different meat and veggie stews with couscous are to die for and great with a few glasses of wine. Traditional desserts add a nice taste to the end or you can walk out to a crêpe stand just around the corner. Love!

Used to be a 5 star place and it had a special spot in my heart as it was the last place we ate at in 1967 the night before moving to the U.S. I went back there every time I visited France. Last few years it’s just not the same food. Still good couscous but no longer great couscous. New owners look as if they are lowering the quality and going for the come once and never again tourists. I will continue to go just for«me» but better couscous can be had in the neighborhood now. I was there in March and I may not even go there again this year which would be the first time I went to France without going there to eat at least once. They were very accommodating to one of the persons in our group last time with some food allergies he had a great meal.

Das Essen ist sehr einfach, aber schmackhaft. Nichts besonders.

I liked the couscous. We ordered the Berbere and the Merguez couscous. Service can be chaotic. The dining room downstairs is charming but avoid being behind or near the stairway. Price is really reasonable.

Every time I go to Paris, I must eat at Au Bön Couscous. It’s delicious, filling, cheap, and no one makes an Algerian couscous better. The wait staff is VERYFRIENDLY if you share your wine!

This is a great little restuarant located in the back streets near the Notre Dame. The restaurant offers a range of north African/Middle Eastern dishes including tagines and cous cous dishes. The food is simple, delicious and the portions are huge. There was plenty left over when we finished. The staff were very friendly, helpful and kept things running smoothly. The only draw back is the restaurant is very small(which is typical of some restaurants/cafes in Paris) but other than that the restaurant the good place to taste some great African/Middle Eastern Cusine.
