Aux Castelblangeois

Great place to pick up lunch after a visit to the Louvre. Note that there’s a very limited area to stand & eat. Best for takeaway.

Lovely sandwiches overflowing with delicious fillings and some of the best macarons I sampled in Paris (and I did try a lot of them). Not terribly pricey either!
We stopped in and I was amazed at the amount of high school French that flooded my brain enough to order lunch from a lovely employee who seemed happy enough that I was doing my best to use the language. This was also helpful as she didn’t speak much English (unusual in this part of the city, but nice to find a place where you can speak French and they didn’t reply in English).
A really great little spot.

I loved this place, the service is great and they have a very friendly and attentive staff. The food is wonderful and the price even better. The best place we ate in Paris during my trip.

L’hygièné n’est pas là et le service non plus !
Les vendeuses ont servi en premier un «habitué» arrivé après moi, elles y sont allés à pleine mains pour me servir (bonjour l’hygièné!), les mêmes mains quirendent la monnaies.
Les viennoiseries né sont pas bonnes, et j’en ai rarement vu d’aussi grasses, la graisse suaintais à travers le sac en papier. je n’ai pas eu de serviette évidemment !

I wanted to try everything. I ended up getting a mushroom quiche and spinach/​cheese bread thing. It was good and very filling. They were so nice and worked with my language barrier. Really close to the Louvre!

I wasn’t going to buy anything. I just wanted to look. I already had so much sweets, but could not resist… Well, I was in Paris.
Very cute and very colorful. Tiny cakes were so delicious.
I will make myself hungry before I come back here.

Aux Castelblangeois c’est une boulangerie qui permet à tous les salariés pressés du quartier Palais Royal de déjeuner rapidement avec un délicieux sandwich et une super bonne pâtisserie (quand on est un bec sucré comme moi) pour un prix raisonnable.
— Les pâtisseries et viennoiseries sont vraiment délicieuses: cela va du basic pain au chocolat, aux marbrés, aux cookies, aux tartes aux fruits (poires, quetsche, etc, etc) mais aussi aux créations plus audacieuses.
— Les sandwichs sont super bons, pas trop gros, avec des ingrédients de qualité et avec des mélanges vraiment savoureux. Déjà testé le burger à la française avec du saumon, du philadelphia, de l’aneth, des oignons confits. Ou encore un sandwich pain complet tomates séchées, miel, chèvre et roquette. Tous super savoureux et pas trop bourratifs.
Côté prix, on est dans le raisonnable au regard du quartier. Compter entre 4 et 5 euros pour un sandwich, 1,20 pour un pain aux raisons, 2.20 pour une parte de tarte.
Service très efficace grâce à un découplement des fonctions prise/​préparation de commandes et paiement.
Carte bleue acceptée à partir de 5 euros.
Le seul défaut de cette boulangerie? Elle est dangereusement située à moins de 30 secondes de mon bureau…

A convenient and reasonable place for breakfast near the Tuillerie Gardens/​Louvre. Excellent prices !!!

Wandered into here on our first trip to Paris, when we were heading from the hotel to the Louvre. The best lemon meringue tarts and brioche we’ve ever had! The sandwiches are also very good. I see the two French reviews noted they felt the staff were a bit rude, but in our experience they’ve been very nice, and patient with my high school French. We now visit whenever we’re in Paris.

Delicious baguette sandwiches — perfect for a quick bite at lunch when you are in a hurry. Reasonable prices, nice variety. The staff were also pretty patient with my inability to speak French.

La vitrine de cette boulangerie fait saliver! J’ai testé les petits pains fourrés à midi, 60 centimes la pièce, il y en a au poulet curry, au fromage, aux lardons et j’en passé! Très bon chocolat et excellente forêt noire! Miam miam.

Great goodies esp during the week as there is a steady stream of working locals grabbing lunch, they are definitely not wrong as my warm baguette almost didn’t make it to the picnic at the Louvre gardens. They also had a few lunch salads that looked very yummy.

A deux pas du Palais Royal, il est une boulangerie haute gamme au nom légèrement pompeux. Aux Castelblangeois confectionne des viennoiseries, des pâtisseries et des sandwiches avec des produits frais et de qualité. Évidemment, la note peut être salée pour une boulangerie.
A vrai dire, j’y allais certain midi, quand je travaille dans le quartier il y a quelques mois. Ils font des petits pains aux lardons ou aux olives délicieux, par chers (0,60 €) et assez bourratif. Disons que deux suffisent à caler l’estomac jusqu’au soir.
Par contre, les vendeuses sont assez désagréables voire carrément hautaines. Ce qui laisse un goût amer…
