Very welcoming and the food was most enjoyable. Sadly a bad taste left in the mouth due to very poor service when getting the bill. We asked the waiters three times before receiving the bill and then we were ignored when trying to pay by card, had to paid cash otherwise we may still be there. Give it a go but take cash to settle the bill

Not bad for a restaurant just near the Champs Elysees! We had the € 18 burger, the € 16 goat cheese salad, the € 7 passion chocolate pie and the € 7 lemon pie. The burger was good, and served with amazing grilled potatoes. The salad was a bit bland — two big cheese tartines, but just on lots and lots of salad, without any other ingredients than a few nuts. The pies were very good, especially the lemon one. As for the atmosphere, it was pretty nice, we were sitting on comfy armchairs and the restaurant didn’t feel too touristy.

I started off with their foie gras pie, it was a good balance with the bread and coffee I had. I really enjoyed the pork belly and highly recommend it. If you are around the champs elysee or l’arc de triomphe this is a solid location to grab lunch or dinner.

We enjoyed the southwest salad. It was fresh and had unique ingredients like figs. Healthy and delicious. Paired well with a glass of local Sauvignon.

Food was great and it was a nice quieter spot away from the main roads. Had the croque monsieur and French south west(duck) salad. Both were great! Side bread given was very good as well.

First night in Paris, let’s eat some yummy Foie Gras! We stumbled across Baroche since it was literally a block away from our lovely hotel. Saw the menu of FG and were sold. We ordered both version of the Foie Gras appetizers, the beet salad, the Italian salad(YUUUMM), the rib eye(a bit on the rare side for my gfs but perfect for me!), the cod(little bland but still fresh and flakey). Four glasses of their very fresh OJ and Grapefruit juice. Our waiter was cute and friendly. What a great way to start our journey in Le Paris! Cute joint on the corner of the street, comfy seats next to the window. Across from a Pharmacie.

A French Bistro that offers great food with quick service right by Champs Elysee. I love that its an avenue or two away from the crowds, so you can eat your lunch in peace. We ordered: French south west salade and pork cheeks, blood sausage with mashed potatoes grandma style. 1664 beer and fresh pressed grapefruit juice. My salad had smoked duck breast, roasted pine nuts and roasted potatoes with organ meats(which I love). The salad was hearty, salty and just what I wanted. The pork cheeks were incredibly satiating with large amounts of seared crispy pig fat. This was cooked well but the star of the dish was the blood sausage. So juicy, savory and flavorful. We could not get enough blood sausage this trip. Beer and pressed grapefruit juice were ok. The grapefruit juice had too much pulp and not enough juice. The staff speaks English and French and are very friendly.

Good food, convenient location, extremely friendly staff — what more can you ask for? It’s nice to go somewhere where the staff make an effort to speak English so you understand the menu and details of dishes you want to order, staff is so friendly and taught us a thing or two about France! We ordered the foie gras, pork belly + blackened beef, prawns + tagliatelle, and crème brûlée dessert. Foie gras is one of the best in town — way better than the overpriced ones directly on Champs-Élysées. The main course dishes were excellent, dessert was decent. Proportions are good — not too much but enough to fill. They also warm up complimentary fresh bread — delicious plus!

This little restaurant off the champs elysèes is a real gem. I ordered the steak rib(medium) and my wife ordered the cod fish. Both were delicious. We had wine along with the food which was also good. I ended it with crème brûlée which was perfect.

Decide to drop in(or actually run in) when the rain was pouring down. It’s a small café on a corner off the beaten path. It’s possible to get breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. It was a bit early for lunch for us, so we decided to go for a cup of coffee and tea. Really good coffee and Kusmi tea. Also had the vanilla crème brulé which was soooooo tasty — and quite big also. Kind, efficient staff — and the speak really good English! Nice décor and small round tables. Relaxing just to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and listen to the soft jazz playing.

A really solid restaurant! We were a party of 6 without reservation for the two times that we dined there and we were seated promptly. Service is attentive and prompt. The dinner selection is limited, however, they are really good. We tried almost all the entrees from the two times we dined there and the best entrée is the duck breast. If you like duck, then order this entrée. The foie gras is rich and decadent also. There is a good selection of dessert and mixed drinks.

Excellent food. Very good service. I had the pâté and carpaccio. Others in my family had gnocchi and smoked salmon. Everyone was very happy. Very nice setting. Crowded with satisfied customers. English menus were a plus. The wines were well priced and excellent. My only qualm was the portion size was a bit small.

Really worth it! The owners and the staff really take care of you — just work your charm a bit and tell them a bit bout your taste and presences. Almost all the dishes were cooked to perfection. Nice wine selection, reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you are at Champs Élysées and don’t want to throw money away on the touristy restaurants on the Main Street! Just 2 blocks away. 3 course dinner for 6 was like 200 euros(not bad I say compared to average joints on the main road).

4.5 stars for food — the salad my mom and I ordered was so unique, unhealthy, and delicious. 10⁄10 would recommend. However, the foie gras cake was meh. +0.5 stars because the servers are nice and speak English, which is always a relief for foreigners who can only say so many phrases in French

Excellent with English menu and conversation. Fried prawns /shrimp were really good. Wrapped in phyllo and were excellent with red bell pepper sauce and creamy avocado sauce. I love ipa beer so I ordered a gallia ipa from Paris which was excellent. Light for an American ipa but with heat was perfect. Staff knowledgable with menu and 5 stars is for service. Food was probably 4 stars if you were going fancy but for an open air fun atmosphere, 5 stars all the way!

I’ll give the big 5 stars here. First, if you need a place where English is spoken by the staff, you will be happy. More important, the food is very good. I ordered the pork belly. Very tender. My brother-in-law ordered the ribeye, despite another Unilocal review that warned against doing so. I told him not to do it. It was not a good cut of meat. He never listens to me. Anyhow, avoid the ribeye. The potatoes were fresh and served hot, and the Bordeaux was very good. Service is good for a Paris café, so take that for what it is worth. C’est bon!

Don’t get the Rib Eye Steak This is a cute little café that has exceptional service with personality. It’s busy so you may want to consider reservations. They did however let our party of 6 in without them. They were extremely helpful, spoke English and were happy to help with menu selections. Ambiance(Rating 3): Nicely decorated but not high-end. Small and cute with a bar. Men, be prepared for the bathroom downstairs. The urinal is viewed by all walking down the stairs. No big deal in France, right? Rib Eye(Rating 1): Do not buy this! Two people in our party ordered the rib-eye steak. The meat itself was of poor quality IMO and its preparation was moderately better. It was seasoned lightly which was fine, but over-cooked. I was really disappointed as I’m a big steak lover. The New potatoes served with the steak were great. They were lightly seasoned with garlic and salt and were cooked well and served in a cute little pot. Goat Cheese Salad(Rating 5): Wow this was great. The goat cheese was warm wrapped in a small pastry. It was placed on top of the salad which had a light wonderful dressing, walnuts and raisins. This I recommend. Vegetable Soup(Rating 4): This was a thick purée soup that was quite tasty. Everyone in our party were of the same opinion. The Bread(Rating %): Usually I wouldn’t do a rating just for bread, but in this case an exception must be made. It was extremely crisp on the outside and delicate inside. The taste was phenomenal with no butter. I think we need to re-visit this establishment to try other entrees.

I came here for desserts and cappuccinos. Our party of 6 each ordered a dessert. I went with the waiters recommendation: strawberry rhubarb tart: Get it! Everything else was alright. The Carmel tart was pure sugar, almost inedible. These people can make a cappuccino.

We stumbled upon this place because it was close to our hotel, but then were totally bummed when they weren’t open the next day. Yeah, it was that good. We had a simple lunch here — a salad with smoked duck and gizzards and a piece of their foie gras pie… but everything about those dishes was delicious. Starting from the bread that they cut next to you and lightly toast, to the perfectly cooked potatoes in the salad, to the delicious fig that was embedded in the foie gras cake — just perfect. Of course, this was all over a carafe of some excellent Rose. Please make sure that this café is on your list to run into while you walk around Champs Elysees! Can’t go wrong!

Note général 5⁄10.
