A beautiful view across the Seine to Notre Dame drew us in. We ordered late lunches: beef bourgignon and roasted chicken fermier and left happy and full. Good solid fare, nothing remarkable, but a great setting and fair price.

After a long and exhausting day we decided to stop here for dinner. We were greeted warmly as soon as we stepped in and the service was excellent for the duration of our meal. We were a group of 5 and all the dishes ordered came in a timely manner and were all very delicious. I highly recommend the bistro M pizza and the free range chicken with taragon juice and pommes frites. We were all satisfied with the portions(which were quite large) and the price(very affordable for Paris). I would definitely return next time I am in Paris. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. For reference, we were a mixed group(American, German, and Peruvian) and trying to speak French goes a long way but the staff also spoke some English and were very nice and accommodating.

We can’t speak any French first of all, but our waiter was super friendly and helpful granted we were the first to sit down in their outside area. We had a charcuterie plate which was okay, some of the items we weren’t a fan of, but that’s just personal preference. Bread was wonderful there, but the real star was the crepes we had. Both were sweet crepes, my husband’s was the lemon which was just a plain crêpe with a wedge of lemon(probably wouldn’t order that one again though the crêpe itself was yummy) and then I got the chocolate banana crêpe. I like how the edges of the crêpe were crispy and the middle soft. I think this was the best crepes we had in Paris.

After visiting Notre Dame, my wife and I decided to try this place. Service was on the bad side. Maybe because there was an initial language barrier(We’re American and we’ve had a great experience so far in Paris). The young lady that greated us was rude! We were handed off to a nicer gentleman that spoke English but it seemed as if he was doing us a favor. We obviously didn’t eat there and the Mojito my wife ordered was on the weak side with a hunk of sugar at the bottom of it. I’ll definitely pass on this one as service goes a long way!

Great spot to stop near the river. The lunch special was delicious. They have filled crepes. The savory crepes are great. I tried the ham and cheese as well as just the cheese. Both good. Good salad. Didn’t try the soup but the onion soup looked and smelled delicious. Now that I read the other reviewer I wish I had!!! The prices were reasonable, the bathroom is clean, and staff friendly. I don’t know if I’d necessarily seek it out given a whole city of restaurants, but if I were stopping in the area I’d definitely come back here.

Visited this bistro just recently while I was in Paris, and it was lovely =). The waiters were very polite to us, the atmosphere is all old-fashioned and cozy, and the beef bourguignon I had there was to die for! My only criticism was that it was a TAD expensive, but hey, it’s Paris. And you definitely get a good amount of food for your money so it’s really not that bad.

I visited this bistro in April 2009 and had the best french onion soup. I visited Paris last month and had the pleasure of having their french onion soup. I must say their french onion soup is the gold standard that I will use for comparing all others. It’s a lovely place. The food is good. You won’t be disappointed.
