My husband and I had such an amazing experience at Bistrotters.
Walking into Bistrotters feels like you’re walking into someone’s home. There are wooden tables and chairs throughout, with a wine bar at the entrance, a chalkboard menu, and books on the shelves. During the day, light floods the space through the windows that line the front of the store. The restaurant was cozy and chic, classy without putting on airs. I really couldn’t imagine visiting Paris and not having a meal at this bistro.
The food was beautifully presented, well-​proportioned, and simply delicious. The service was kind, accommodating, and quick.
Our meal —
Vegetable tart: fresh and light, intricately dressed with shaved, crispy purple potatoes. Great combination of tastes and textures.
Penny bun mushroom soup with boiled egg: impressive depth of flavor.
Lamb: well-​cooked and the vegetables adorning it were a nice touch.
Pork belly: what a perfect dish, the crispy pork belly well accompanied with the rich sauce that I think has a hint of star anise.
Chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet: a sweet end to a lovely meal, the decadent cocoa flavor smartly paired with the bright flavor of raspberry.
I recommend this bistro to anyone telling me they’re visiting Paris and they always come back to me with gratitude and rave reviews. An absolute must if you’re lucky enough to visit Paris.

Such a lovely place! For a casual setting with amazing food (36 Euros for 3 courses!), definitely check this place out, even if it’s a bit of a trek.
We had the pea veloute with pieces of sashimi and the foie gras as starters, and both were absolutely delicious, the foie gras was our favorite of the two. We then proceeded to the duck and pork loin, both of which were simple and beautifully presented. Although the pain perdu (french toast) caught my eye after looking at other reviews, the roasted pineapple tart was the desert that stood out to me. Overall great value for your money, and a place I’d love to come back to again.

Service rapide mais gentil, vins de qualité, bonne ambiance, cuisine européenne inspirée du monde (je pense notamment à ma bonne soupe miso à l’anguille, champignons asiatiques, algues et sésame). C’est rempli de touristes, ce qui est cool !

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who had come to Paris in the spring and so glad we got to come here! It was our first meal in Paris and it was well worth it. The place itself is tiny but super cute — I’m sure it gets somewhat crowded during the weekends so I would say make a reservation, just in case.
They only have a pre-​fixe menu where you can either do 2 courses (appetizer + entrée or entrée + dessert) or the full 3 courses. Since there were two of us, we decided to each do one so we can try an appetizer as well as a dessert without being overly stuffed. We started with the vegetable tart, which was ridiculously good, who would’ve thought?! For entrees, we got the whiting medallions and the beefsteak — both were delicious and for dessert we got the chocolate ganache — superrrrrr rich! They also had a good selection of wine to choose from, which was great!
The service was incredible here. From the time we walked in until the time we walked out, it was perfection. I would definitely come back on our next visit to Paris.

What a treat it was to have lunch here. Impeccable service, incredible food and intricate detail, everyone visiting Paris should visit this place for lunch or dinner.

This is a really rather excellent place.
The food adds an incredible creativity to French style, making it modern in its outlook, yet retaining traditional intensity of flavours.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant happily to anyone who is looking for something very French, yet very different.

Un super petit resto caché dans un quartier pas terrible, parfait pour surprendre, le vin est bon et pas hors de prix, né vous forcez pas à finir la bouteille, vous pouvez partir avec (vous êtes chez un caviste). Tout est frais et de saison mais méfiez vous, tout né vaut pas le coup, le menu parfait d’après moi:
Entrée: tarte fine aux légumes du moment
Plat: croustillant de poitrine de cochon sauce au cidre
Dessert: brioche perdue au caramel
Arrosez tout ça d’un vin rouge conseillé par le chef des lieux suivant vos préférences.
Bref, suivez le guide, vous né serez pas déçu!

Wir sind extra 30 Minuten mit der Metro Richtung Süden gefahren, um hier essen zu können. Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Eine innovative Küche in einem intimen Restaurant mit einem freundlichen Service. Alles mit Liebe zum Detail gekocht und serviert. Zwei Gänge kosten 30 € und drei Gänge 37 €. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Online Reservierungsmöglichkeit. Nicht umsonst befindet sich das Restsurant auf Platz 22 von über 14.000 Restaurants in Paris auf Trip Advisor. Meine absolute Empfehlung für Paris!
ENGLISH VERSION
We drove extra 30 minutes by the Metro towards the south in order to eat here. It was really worth it. An innovative cuisine in an intimate restaurant with a friendly service. Everything cooked with attention. Two courses cost € 30 and three 37 €. It is also worth the online booking option. Not for nothing is the Restsurant number 22 from more than 14,000 restaurants in Paris on TripAdvisor. My absolute recommendation for Paris!

Très bon restaurant dans ce désert culinaire du 15ème.
Réservation indispensable dans cet endroit qui est très couru.
Les plats sont certes traditionnels mais très bien exécutés (le suprême de poulet au thym était divin) avec de très bons produits.
Les quantités sont suffisantes pour rassasier les gourmands.
Un légère déception pour la carte, je n’ai pas eu l’embarras du choix (non pas que j’aime une carte trop longue car ça évoque des suspicions mais je n’ai pas hésité sur mon plat et mon dessert c’est dire que les autres plats né m’ont pas tentés) mais un grand bravo pour les desserts très gourmands.

Very good food, great prices, and the staff was wonderful. The owner was there and was completely charming. Nice, small venue. Would go back again for sure. Probably 4 + ½ stars, but they don’t have that option on Unilocal.If you are new to Paris and nervous about encountering «cold» Parisians, then this is the place, as they are extremely friendly.

C’était apparemment le bistrot ou il fallait se rendre (selon des magazines ou différents sites) et bien que le repas soit bon plusieurs choses me chagrinent :
— l’obligation de prendre une formule a minimum 30 € (entrée plat), nous avions une petite faim et pas forcément envie d’une entrée.
— le prix de cette même formule, pour une entrée constituée uniquement de légumes (type carottes, betteraves, navets radis…) et un plat de poitrine de porc (pas forcément une des parties les plus nobles du porc), je trouve que c’est assez onéreux, même si il faut reconnaître que c’est copieux.
— le service assez froid, le serveur n’est pas désagréable il n’est pas agréable non plus.
— le quartier n’est pas des plus agréable.
Pour les côtés positifs la deco du lieu (typique bistrot), la présentation des plats, et les plats qui sont bons ce n’est pas non plus extraordinaire mais c’est bon. Le service est très rapide pas d’attente.
Autre plus sympa Le Check in donne droit à un petit cadeau.

J’ai trouvé ce restaurant par hasard dans un magazine, où les avis sur leur cuisine étaient élogieux. J’ai donc décidé de le tester lors de mon séjour à Paris.
Ce restaurant est un peu perdu dans le 14eme, la salle est petite mais la décoration est assez jolie (moulures au plafond, comptoir & tables en bois, coin avec banquettes, lustre au plafond, etc…). Il n’y a pas de cartes mais deux grandes ardoises accrochées au mur.
Côté service: Nous sommes accueillis par un homme assez cérémonieux, pas très chaleureux même un peu froid.
Le service des plats en lui même était assez rapide (aucune attente) mais comme le serveur, pas très gai… On né sent visiblement pas la passion de la restauration en lui ! Bref,.
Côté carte: un peu déçue, nous né pouvons malheureusement pas manger qu’un seul plat. Le midi la formule à 30 € (entrée + plat ou plat + dessert) est obligatoire, donc si vous comptiez manger léger le midi c’est raté ! La formule est vraiment assez chère pour les plats proposés sachant que pour la plupart on doit rajouter un supplément (+4 € ou +7 €, vous rigolez ?) Encore bref,…
Côté cuisine: en entrée j’ai pris une tarte fine au légumes (qui n’avais rien de fine d’ailleurs) qui est tout simplement une base de galette de pomme de terre avec par dessus une fondue de poireau toute simple & un méli-​mélo de différents légumes croquant (betteraves, radis, beaucoup de carotte, navet) ! La présentation est magnifique mais malheureusement j’ai trouver le plat un peu fade (toutes les saveurs sont mélangées & du coup on né sent plus rien) & c’est vraiment très copieux (trop pour une entrée).
En plat, j’ai choisi un croustillant de poitrine de porc, fenouil & cidre qui était pour le coup beaucoup plus savoureux que l’entrée. C’est une pièce du porc assez grasse donc le plat fut lui aussi assez copieux mais vraiment bon !
A deux nous en avons eu pour 70 €, addition vraiment élevé pour un simple déjeuner, les plats & le service né justifient pas ce montant. Rapport qualité/​prix donc décevant ! Je pense que c’est plus rentable de venir le soir…

Casual atmosphere with friendly service and great tasting food. Also, good selection of reasonably priced wines by the bottle. We tried a variety of things, including the veal chop which was juicy and flavorful. The wine we selected went well with everything. The brioche french toast for dessert was the BEST!
I definitely recommend this place.

Des le premier coup de fil pour la réservation, quel accueil chaleureux ! Ça se confirme sur place avec ces deux garçons très aimables en vous donnant des conseils pour chaque choix. Très bons produits, nous avons nous quatre aimé beaucoup nos plats. Amateurs de cheescacke, n’hésitez pas!

Je né mets pas 5 étoiles parceque la salle est un peu bruyante et que j’ai trouvé le dessert un peu trop sucré, sans compter les difficultés de réservation. En dehors de ça, très bon restaurant, cuisine simple et bonne. ça fait tout simplement plaisir de manger des plats cuisinés pour un prix raisonable, ce qui est finalement dur de trouver dans Paris.

Excellent bistro serving top quality Michelin-​worthy food. My family had the following appetizers– smoked salmon beautifully plated with apricot sauce (best ever!), the artichoke with poached egg. Main courses were all amazing though I don’t remember what we had. All in all, a top-​quality restaurant with excellent food.

Ma vrai notation est plutôt un 3,5/5.
Difficile d’obtenir une réservation dans ce resto trés pris d’assaut ! On comprend mieux en arrivant: le resto n’est pas trés grand, mais fréquenté quasiment que par des touristes!
On est trés bien accueillis, on peut même choisir notre table. Petit check in Unilocal,et hop! On debloque un cadeau, un dropstop pour les bouteilles de vin c’est trés sympa!
La carte est plutôt courte mais ce né sont que des produits frais et de saison, c’est agréable.
37 € le menu entrée-​plat-​dessert, 4 € de supplement pour le foie gras, et 7 € de supplement sur les plats…
J’opte en entrée par une salade de betteraves crues et oeuf poché excellente, c’est frais et la cuisson de l’oeuf est parfaite!
Cabillaud et légumes sautés en plat, c’était bon, bien maîtrisé mais selon moi ça né justifie pas le prix…
Quant au dessert, la brioche perdue au chocolat et caramel au beurre salé, c’est une tuerie!!! J’en aurai leché l’assiette ;)
Petite deception egalement sur le vin: nous prenons une demi-​bouteille de blanc à 17,5 €, il s’agit en fait d’une caraffe, remplie a partir de 3 fonds de bouteille differentes… On né s’y attendait pas.
En dehors de ces remarques nous y avons passé une bonne soirée, il y a deux services, 19h et 21h15/​30, on né se sent pas du tout pressé, on a le telps de bien apprecier ses plats.

Un très bon resto que nous avons testé le samedi midi. Pas de soucis pour réserver (peut-​être plus difficile pour le soir).
Le service est TRÈS sympathique. On a même eu le droit à une bougie sur le dessert pour un anniversaire !
Je conseille fortement la tarte au légumes en entrée, c’est la spécialité du lieu. Un plaisir pour les yeux et pour les papilles !!
J’ai testé les saint jacques et j’ai fini avec le pain perdu. Un repas copieux et bon, un très bon rapport qualité prix.
Bref, un sans faute !

Service: Two servers who both speak English very well. They were very helpful in explaining dishes in English since their menu is on a chalkboard. They were attentive to checking in with us, refilling our water and wine and were great a selecting a wine for us.
Food: Awesome combination of flavors, plating and designing was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our meal from beginning to end. The best dessert I had in Paris during my week stay was here: the French Toast dessert. I could eat plates of that.
Reservations are made 12 days in advance only through their website and be expected to reconfirm your reservations through email 2 — 3 day before. An email will be sent for you to recofirm, no need to contact restaurant.
I am surprised by the reviews with lower stars, sorry that they had a disappointing time but this place offered me one of the best meals in Paris. I would dine here again in a heartbeart.
Atmosphere: Very casual, jeans are fine. Very laid back.
The menu changes once a month, approximately.
I would definitely come here again, and highly recommend stopping by for a great experience. I have nothing negative to say about Bistrotters only that I wish I could dine here in the USA.

It’s a little but out of town but worth it. Great advice and amazing food. The menu for three courses is 37 € or + 30 €. Try the brioche and the terrine both winners.

Très bonne adresse parisienne, cuisine raffinée et soignée, les serveurs sont vraiment attentionnés et le cadre est parfait… je recommande ce restaurant avec un réel plaisir.

Un bon petit restaurant souffrant d’un seul mal: une note démesurée sur Tripadvisor qui empêche toute tentative de repas sans résa 14 jours à l’avance…

Amazing food, service and ambiance. Bistrotters is the epitome of modern French cuisine and kind, welcoming service without robbing the bank. We showed up 1 day early for our reservation (yes, we were that excited!) and the owner kindly accommodated us for the first sitting of the night.
Bistrotters offers the prix fixe menu with a solid selection of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. The pork belly and pain perdu were heavenly. We also enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of wine with our meal.
Bistrotters is well worth the trip on the metro to the 14ieme arrondissement.

Very Good But!
and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We were warmly greeted and the menue was very much to our liking with fois gras and a nice gewürztraminer accompaniment. Wife had lamb and I had devine pork belli and the french toast dessert was fabulous. I was left with a less than wonderful taste in my mouth with the way they set-​up there pricing. 37E for 3-​courses fine. and if they charged me 47E for the same 3-​courses, fine too… but I didn’t like that the fois gras was a 5E supplement as was the lamb. We understood of course the wine was extra but don’t offer a 3-​course meal for 37E and have your 2 most popular courses include a 5E supplemental charge… Also, it was very warm in the restaurant and I could not imagine the heat in the summer as we were very hot and it was only April — he said was getting AC though! Oh an item the seating was not very comfortable. Kinda old style chairs from the 40s I will imagine.

Petit restaurant tenu par une équipe jeune et dynamique. La cuisine est fine et élaborée. La salle est très agréable avec sa grande baie vitrée. On se sent bien; on a juste envie d’y aller plus souvent! Formule entrée-​plat ou plat-​dessert à 30 € ou formule 3 plats à 37 €.

i’m actually surprised that i stumbled over the restaurant section of tripadviser and found out that the apparently most popular restaurant in entire Paris is right around from my place.
And indeed it is a very very nice place with a very very developed and creative cuisine and which is why the place has earned its popularity. I particularly like the idea of some friends deciding to open up a restaurant.
But there is a downside to it which make me say «i’ve experienced better» as this is for me a typical tourism-​victim.
— getting a reservation is a hassle and requires booking looong in advance (!!)
— almost or no locals (very touristy feeling in fact)
— menu prices are attractive at the first look but only if you stay with the basics. every little extra will cost you quite some extra. What is the point of offering a menu then? I’d even say that this is dishonest in some way.
It is surely a great discovery during a weekend trip to France. However i found it to be rather overrated as clearly there are other places that offer more for less. Therefore the 2 out of 5 rating.

Cité dans le Top 10 des meilleurs restaurants de Paris par le site «Tripadvisor», je me dois d’y aller ! Mais pour la réservation, quelle aventure ! Au bout d’un nombre incalculable d’essais, je finis par réussir …
Le restaurant se trouve dans une rue reculée du 14e arrondissement donc difficile de le repérer si on n’en entend pas parler.
La déco est sobre, la salle est plutôt petite. Le menu est affiché sur les grandes ardoises accrochées aux murs.
Le service est extrêmement agréable, le serveur n’hésite pas à nous faire des petites blagues ou à s’immiscer dans notre conversation. Certains pourraient trouver cela impoli mais cela rend le service vraiment chaleureux.
En ce qui concerne les plats: une formule à 38e pour E/​P/​D, tout à fait raisonnable, malgré les quelques suppléments pour certains plats.
En entrée: une petite tarte de légumes. La présentation est splendide, tout en couleurs et en rondeurs. Les légumes sont originaux et bien assaisonnés et la base de la pâte est craquante. Un vrai délice.
En plat: une poêlée de St Jacques avec une crème de chou fleur à la vanille. Les st jacques sont ultra bonnes, accompagnées d’une fine purée de potimarron. Néanmoins, je né suis pas très fan de la crème de chou à la vanille, un peu trop sucrée à mon goût ce qui déséquilibre le plat.
En dessert: plus de plateau de fromages, malheur ! Bön je me rabats sur le pain brioché façon pain perdu, assez classique mais très réussi tout de même.
En résumé, un repas très réussi avec un service au top. Néanmoins j’ai dû mal à comprendre l’enthousiasme du site «Tripadvisor» pour ce restaurant ainsi que l’extrême difficulté à réserver, sachant que plusieurs autres restaurants à Paris mériteraient autant d’admiration.

Excellent bistro
Bien que j’habite tout près, j’ai mis pas mal de temps avant de tester ce restau: réservation obligatoire et mieux vaut s’y prendre 2 semaines à l’avance ! C’est assez rare dans ce quartier mais le succès que connait ce restau est largement mérité: le personnel très sympa et la cuisine excellente en sont pour moi les deux principales raisons. Bonne sélection de vins, abordables et presque tous disponibles en demi-​bouteille ou au verre. Enfin l’ambiance est sympa, la majorité de la clientèle est étrangère (le restaurateur nous expliquait qu’ils ont eu une très bonne presse à l’étranger lors de l’ouverture du restaurant) mais ça reste très décontracte et pas du tout touristique au mauvais sens du terme. Non, vraiment, la seule chose qu’on peut leur reprocher est d’être victime de leur succès ce qui rend difficile d’y aller sans l’avoir prévu à l’avance !

Food is not bad but it doesn’t quite meet our expectations. The service was impressive, they treated us as if we were dinning in a 2 stars Michelin restaurant. There were only about 8 – 10 tables and almost 70% of the customers dinning there were tourists on that evening. The price is very reasonable.

Wow. This place is everything a tourist would want in a gourmet French meal… without the enormous prices! I ordered the prefixed menu for 35 euros and paid another 5 euros or so for a full glass of Pinot. For the caliber and quality of my dinner, I could easily pay 100 euros and up at bigger, more reknown restaurants in Paris. Read on.
I started with a crab cake appetizer. It was, first of all, 3″ across and 2″ high. Who does that?! That’s huge! This massive crabcake already made a great 1^st impression. Then, when I dug my fork into it, huge lumps of fresh crab landed on my fork and straight into my mouth. YUM! The sweetness of the ocean and the tanginess of the dressing was the perfect combination. I think it had some curry powder in it and some relish-​ish dressing made with heavy cream. YUM.
My main entrée was their famous pork belly. IN-​CRED-​IBLE! I thought I had died and gone to pork belly heaven. The meat just melted in my mouth, while the skin was thick and perfectly crispy. This 4 – 6 oz serving rested on a bed of caramelized onions, while all of that rested in a dark broth that perfectly balanced fat and flavor. mmmmmm I think this little piggy has been cooking all day. Did I already say «mmmmmm?»
Finally, for dessert, I had tiramisu. Yes, an italian dessert, but MAN OH MAN, the French almost do it better! I don’t know exactly how to describe it, but the coolness of the cream, the buttery taste of mascarpone, in combo with the double-​kick of rum and French-​grade espresso… wow wow wow!
I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could eat more, but I was so stuffed. If I ever visit Paris again, I will def return. Not only is the food unforgettable, but man… I thiknk the male staff were former models! Do all French men wink at the ladies, or was the bartender just winking at me? ;) [fanning myself…]

Let me start by saying that this was the best service by far that we have received in Europe this trip.
We arrived for lunch at 12:45 and was greeted by one if the owners. He was so nice and happy to see us.
He kindly explained the menu to us and even brought us an English menu. We decided to go with the 2 course menu. Starter and entrée.
I got the mushroom soup with fried, soft boiled, egg. It was Devine. My wife got the vegetable tart. She loved it.
Main course I got, at the recommendation of the gentleman helping us, the seared ahi with noodles. It was amazing. My wife had the pork belly. It was so good. Root vegetables and braised pork belly.
All in all we would definitely go again next time we are in Paris.

Food is tastey and intresting. fresh new… flavorful. The pork stomach is good, and loved the desserts. Service is great here. The owner is very young, honest, upbeat, friendly and outgoing. Willing to fix any problems right away and trying to improve. I hope he does this all the way even when he gets fat old and wealthy. :) As a plus, their toilet area is very clean. Recommended.

Je vais sûrement y retourner très prochainement car c’est rare de trouver un endroit où on trouve le saveur, l’esthétisme, un prix correct et la gentillesse du jeun patron passionné.

Delicious. 32 Euros for a 3 course meal.
Appetizers: escargots on puff pastry was my favorite. Fois Gras was also delicious and they gave a generous portion — tasted rich and sinful on baguette bread. Prawns were delicious too!
There were 5 entrée choices and delicious desserts. Others have detailed the whole menu so I won’t.
Email them ahead of time to make a reservation and check your email again in case they ask you to confirm closer to the date. Take the metro, it was a 3 minute walk from the station.
This dinner was one of the highlights of my trip to Paris. :)

If you can, you have to try this place.
Very small, maybe a dozen tables.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (especially nice since my French is pretty much non-​existent).
We had the escargot, lamb, duck, and brioche with Carmel au neuter sale and chocolate croquant.. In short it was nothing less than perfect. One of my best Resturant experiences.
You will not be disappointed.

We traveled with a party of 10, which in Paris is usually a no-​no, but we called way ahead and were able to get a reservation. Their bio wine list is excellent and we went with their prix fixe menu. I love that they give you the option of doing 2 or 3 courses (dessert option). We ordered most of the entrée’s (baby lamb, steak, pork belly, and fish) and virtually everyone ordered the shrimp tempura salad.
Service was excellent and I’d definitely go back again. The owners are very attentive and I loved that they all wear unique T shirts.

Nous avions donc été très intrigués et impatients d’aller le découvrir par nous-​mêmes. Nous avons profité de la venue d’amis dans la capitale pour y réserver une table. Nous n’avons pas été déçus et né pouvons que vous conseiller très vivement d’y aller sans tarder.
L’accueil est détendu et souriant. Le patron est jeune et très sympa. Le cadre est charmant voire romantique pour un repas en amoureux. La déco est soignée et de bon goût. Le décor étant posé, passons à la cuisine.
Tout simplement merveilleuse ! Les plats sont bien garnis, juste ce qu’il faut et les produits de qualité très nettement supérieure. La cuisine est excellente, la carte variée et les plats subtilement revisités. Pour né rien gâcher, les prix sont très raisonnables pour la qualité fournie. De mémoiré, le plat+dessert est à 26 euros. les vins sont un peu chers mais ils sont là encore de qualité supérieure. Une amie est sortie de là en gardant à tout jamais le souvenir de son dessert: un coulant au chocolat guanaja extraordinaire ! Elle n’avait jamais mangé un coulant aussi bon de sa vie (sic) ! Tous mes amis ont été emballés et j’étais assez fier, il est vrai, de leur avoir fait découvrir cet établissement.

Un resto pour une soirée sympa en semaine, mais il faut prévoir budget de 40 euros par personne pour s’offrir un bon diner !
Les vins sont excellents. La cuisine pas mal du tout (La formule du midi est intéressante). Si vous passez par là: installez vous et profitez !
