Solid thai food far from Thailand. I have been to the one in Bangkok and this is just as good. I had the chicken satay which was yummy! The peanut sauce is bang on. The mrs had the mixed veggies and rice. The soup she said was unreal and one of the best she’s had. The cab driver was really happy that we were going there! «very good choice monsieur» The décor is really nice with tropical plants all over the place. Prices are high though, since it’s such a hot spot for the locals and tourists alike.

This is the best Thai restaurant in France according to my family. The décor is enchanting and romantic. The waiter will offer you a beautiful flower. The service is perfect. The flavors are incredible. The size portions are great. If you feel like enjoying a relaxing and awesome evening, just try them!

I have experienced better there — I remember we went to this restaurant for my 40th birthday and the food was fabulous! Had the opportunity to go back to Paris recently and just HAD to have dinner their again. Sad and disappointing. The gentleman waiter upstairs was lackluster and just going through the motions with his careless and sloppy service. The flavour of the food was boring and unexciting — toned down — small portions at high prices. Everything tasted the same — We shared the Royal Menu at E52 p/p — should not have bothered. How annoying that I now have to scratch this one from my memory — it’s been listed as one of my favorites for years and years and now it’s not.

We used to enjoy eating at the BE, but the Paris location is mediocre at best. Thai flavors and spice are toned down to «thai food being sweet». Pitiful waste. There are better restaurants in Paris for far less. But the décor is fabulous!

Sure the design of the restaurant is very nice and cosy, the service is up scale compared to most of other Thai restaurants in Paris. But if the menu is richer, and the ingredients definitely of a much better quality, the result is not stricking brillant or as surprising that I would have expected with all the above. perhaps all the starters and entrees should have come much warmer at the table to fully appreciate them It goes a bit too much on the pricey side for the experience. Go /No Go: It all depends you favor the restaurant experience or you’re very much about the food above and beyond the rest.

I came here with my dad and my cousin who is studying abroad here in France. She heard this place was awesome from someone and we decided to give it a try. We decided to make reservations(since everything that is good seems to fill up FAST), and we were glad we did. It was totally bustling with people when we arrived. The décor is amazing. It really truly takes you to a different part of the world, in a good way. It was really beautiful. My cousin and I were getting a kick out of all the decorations and statues and plants they had covering the place. We ordered 2 Pad Thai dishes, dim sum, spring rolls, and chicken satay. I was bummed that they didn’t have pad see ew, which is my favorite Thai food dish, but I figured they might not have it for a reason. It took us a while to get the attention of the server to place our order… But the food came out surprisingly fast! It was wonderful. The two Pad Thai dishes were very yummy and flavorful. The dim sum texture kind of weirded me out, but my dad and cousin loved it. The spring rolls were glorious and I highly recommend those. The chicken satay was pretty standard. Very chicken-y. Those 5 dishes seemed to be the perfect amount of food. We consumed every morsel yet we were satisfied but not totally stuffed. When we left, a man behind some desk gave my cousin and me a pretty orchid stem. Such a wonderful touch at the end of a meal.

The restaurant is covered with flowers, Thai statues, and tropical trees that instantly transport the diner to the heart of Thailand. In addition, the service is professional and polite. My husband, a friend, and I ordered two«Le Menu Royal» which comes with a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts that gave a broad taste of what the menu covers. Everything was perfectly done. We also had the Crabe Mou Samoon Prai(soft-shell crab), which was delicious. However, it was a mistake to order Tempura De Lotte. We were expecting flaky, light tempura, but this dish was heavily deep fried which just made us feel bloated. Coming from NYC where I always eat run-of-the-mill Thai food that’s always good and cheap, I was pleased to discover a high end Thai restaurant in Paris. I will definitely return to Blue Elephant.

I can’t say enough good things about Blue Elephant. From the moment you walk in you are enveloped and transported to another place. The creative drinks, wine menu and starter the comp you with to the main dishes and desserts. All fresh ingredients, not too salty or overly hot, but made to your specifications. Definitely my favorite Thai place in the world. During our visit to Paris we went at least 4 times. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

We booked dinner for 3, the service was OK, but like a fast food joint. i have eaten in blue elephant at brussels and london. But this has to be the worst thai food ever. We ordered 3 different main courses and all had the same taste. The chicken tasted like a rubber. It is a disgrace to thai food and blue elephant establishment.

Simply the best. It was about 150 Euros for my ex boyfriend at the time and myself. We went there to enjoy, and that we did, all the nook and crannies, every detail was not untouched! I loved this place and cannot wait to return with my boyfriend!

Part of a worldwide chain this place is a high-end thai restaurant. I’d recommend going there once for the experience but I didn’t feel the need to come back(even though I did a couple of times). The decoration of the place is amazing, and this is truly what gives you the feeling of dining at the other end of the world. The place is huge, with several floors but the vegetation and the table arrangement gives you the impression of being relatively isolated. The food though is underwhelming, the spices are not really balanced: some dishes are bland while others are super spicy without proper warning on the menu. The waiter will usually push you to get the tasting menu which ends up being super expensive. Otherwise, most of the dishes are quite good, but not much better than in any decent thai restaurant.

What others find contrived, we found charming. It is a chain, albeit upscale. The ambiance is definitely over-the-top rainforest, but to be honest, after all the hustle & bustle of summer Paris traffic, it felt like a nice refuge. The food is very very good by Western Thai restaurant standards, but it is also very very pricey. All in all it made for a very nice non-French dinner break.

Chic Franchaise Very pleasant surroundings but at 50 euros a pop per person I would expect better cuisine. I was also annoyed at their ‘service’ apparently(at least at weekends) you can dine between 19H30 and 21H30, then they make you pay your bill and get out to make room for the next suckers. I’ve lived in Paris for 7 years and this is my worst deception. Don’t go there if you want to spend ‘quality’ time. The Pattaya is far less pretentious and you don’t have to dine against the stopwatch.
