We discovered this gem a little late during our eight days stayed in Paris… a block from our apt. Tender, flakey… croissants…mmmmm.missed you already. Friendly staff, reasonable priced, and delicious.

Tasty breakfast items. Only one inside table for two in the morning, so best to plan to take your purchase home. By lunchtime, as it warms up, a few tables appear in front. Best pain aux raisins I had in Paris.

We were making our way to the Champs de Mars and wanted to grab a few pastries on our way. As we walked by this place there was a line out of the door — and thinking that that must be a good sign we stopped in. Locals were coming in the entire time, ordering a baguette or a sandwich. We loved the Sandwich jambon Emmental(a must during any visit to Paris) and their Pain Amandes Choco is to die for! A bit of advice, know what you want before you step through the doors, it’s a fast moving kind of place and not a linger for a while type of place, so decisions are best made while you ‘fait du lèche-vitrines’ outside. The workers made no effort to speak English with me, so come prepared with basic french numbers and the ability to read the signs before you order. An absolutely wonderful experience — we ate here 3 times in our 5 days in Paris!

How is it possible that this place hasn’t been reviewed??? Delicious, inexpensive, frequented by locals. What’s not to love? I literally have dreams about this place. Get the formule: sandwich, pastry, and drink for less than 7 euro. They have long hours too!
