Our first meal in Paris as it was right next door to the place we were staying at. It’s clean and has attentive service, and free water which is rare! Also you are given a basket of baguette at no charge, and the bread is delicious! The first time(yes we went twice!) I ordered the goat cheese and tomato quiche. My friend got the goat cheese on bread. Both dishes were good, although I wish mine had a little more flavor. Love how they give you a side salad, as I lacked my vegetable intake during this trip, and the mustard dressing is a nice addition. The second time, I had the croque monsieur which was pretty tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary from what I have had. My friend’s salmon tartar tasted off, so she did not eat it in case the fish was bad. The french fries are good though, have a nice little groove to add ketchup and/or mustard to it. Prices are very reasonable, and lots of outdoor seating as well.

I’ve stopped in here a few times for coffees. The waiter has always been very kind. It is a clean, bright atmosphere, a bit of a faux New York design. If you’re in the neighborhood, perhaps after Musée Jaquemart André, it’s a nice place to grab a warm drink.

It’s midnight, you’ve been walking aimlessly after the Tour de France finish(at night this year), looking for a place to eat, worried that you’re just going to have to jump on the metro and head back to the hotel. And there it is, a beacon in the night, a place serving more than just drinks even at this late hour! They were friendly, fast, and obviously noticing that we were Americans served up hamburgers that were well-cooked.
