Café Kousmichoff

Déjà adeptes des thés kusmi tea, quand nous avons aperçu la boutique/​café nous n’avons pas hésité. Rien de tel pour se réchauffer et se détendre après un long week-​end de marche à Paris. L’accueil était absolument parfait, le personnel très attentionné, tout pour passer un bon moment. J’ai pris un thé glacé, qui était parfaitement infusé, et les gourmandises était succulentes. I was strolling the Champ Elysees and wanted to have some tea. There was a huge line for Laudree so I decided to try this place. It was raining out so the Terrace was closed (I bet it would be a great place to grab some tea/​food on a nice day out). The first floor is their boutique and the café is upstairs.
The servers were very friendly and attentive while I was there. I forgot who helped me but she suggested some teas based on my preferences. The one I decided on was a nice fruity black tea and it was very good. I was only there for tea, but their menu is HUGE! There were so many options for tea, alcohol, food, etc.
I settled for the afternoon tea set and there was a lot of food. The tea sandwiches were good, but the bread was a bit dry. My favorite were the little pancake things!
Try to get a table next to the window if you can — it’s great for watching the people stroll up and down Champ Elysees! It may be a tad pricey, but you’re paying for the atmosphere, location, and service!

Un peu déçue par le Café Kousmi choff. Le lieu est sympa, le personnel rapide et efficace. En revanche, les prix sont atrocement chers, pour une si petite quantité et une qualité assez basique. Bref, à essayer pour essayer.

Unfortunately, prices are aligned with the standing of the neighboorhood: € 8 for a large glass of iced tea or for a teapot of one blend of Kusmi Tea’s selection. Pastries come from La Pâtisserie des Rêves but with a significant markup (~€ 12 – 14 for an individual cake!)
I recommend the «Thé gourmand» menu, 1 tea + 4 mini-​pastries for € 13, perfectly sized for a sweet pause during the afternoon.
So it is a perfect place to have a fancy «goûter» with a friend, I wouldn’t recommend it for the food or drinks.

Cadre sympa pour ce café situé au 1er étage de la boutique Kusmi Tea des Champs Elysées.
Un immense bar permet de se poser pour déjeuner sur le pouce. Sinon, vous pouvez opter pour de larges fauteuils.
A la carte, snack et assiettes surfant sur un thème russe (saumon & co). et bien évidemment tous les thés Kusmi.
Mon «assiette verte’ à 24 € était plus que copieuse avec une quiche courgette chèvre, une salade de lentilles, des toasts aux champignons rôtis, un fromage frais, des sucrines… Un délice.
Les desserts sont de la Patisserie des Rêves !
Ce n’est pas vraiment donné mais c’est une adresse sympa pour un déjeuner entre copines dans un quartier qui en manqué (d’adresses, pas de copines)…
