Me and my husband stayed here during a 4 day trip to Paris. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was although it was small, however I was expecting that because we were in Paris. The furniture and décor was old/drab, however everything was impeccably clean which is my number one concern when staying in a hotel. The bathroom was brand new with an amazing shower head which provided great water pressure. The toilet was located in a separate stall beside the washroom. The bed was very comfortable and the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good with nice restaurants and cafés nearby. Not a touristy location but it’s not in the most hip part of Paris either. Overall a good value and comfortable stay. Thank you to the hotel and staff!

We got a great price for this three star hotel so we thought… The room was clean and spacious(for a European hotel room) but the bath tub was a little too high(hard to get in and out of) for me. I almost cracked my head open 3 times coming out of the shower. I was also a little upset that they did not have a «Do not Disturb» sign for the doorknob so the cleaning ladies walked in on my shower a few times. But, to be fair we did not ask for a «DnD» even though the front desk people all spoke English. Communication was not a problem for us «Unedjamacated in Frenchies» at the hotel or most of Paris for that matter. We tried so very hard to speak French but our tongue just would not work right. Now, that being said, the French people are so VERY nice to Americans! I mean they went above and beyond to help us out when we could not find the correct French words. They would just say, «oh, you are Americans?» and go on to speak English with us. We think they spoke English to us because we were butchering their language. Over all this hotel was not worth the price.

I’ve stayed here on my various trips to Paris. Nestled in a typical Parisian neighborhood, which is a good thing. Rooms are small by American standards, but quite comfortable. Breakfast is usually included, which is croissant, coffee, juice and some fruit, but there’s also a café down the street which is great. Close to the metro, pleasant staff. There are other similar type of hotels for less money, but they’re always in demand, so they must be doing something right, including the breakfast. A lot of the hotels I’ve found that are similar may have lower prices, but usually don’t include breakfast. You have to decide if it’s worth the extra 50 euros/night. I don’t think so.

We chose this hotel because of favourable reviews on another website, and also because it had air conditioning, but it didn’t live up to its reputation. We’d asked for a quiet room, and upon arrival were allocated a room on the top floor. It was listed as a ‘superior’ room, but it was hard to see why. The room was a fairly good size for Paris, and it had a flat screen TV, but the décor was a little tired — it really was nothing special. The bathroom was clean, but although the shower was hot and powerful, the shower hose did not attach to the wall, which was rather inconvienient. Our room faced the back of the hotel, so we had no view, and outside our window there was a large, noisy generator, so not exactly the quiet room that we had requested. A room facing onto the side street would have been much more pleasant. Our air conditioning broke down several times and they were not too quick at fixing it; as a result we endured three very hot nights there — opening the window was not an option because of the noisy generator! On the plus side, the breakfast was pretty decent if you can get it as part of a deal. The location was also good — although a little out of the centre, it was very close to the metro station and there were some nice cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. I would return to Paris, but not here.
