Well this is a lovely little place in the relatively recently refurbished Beaugrenelles shopping mall.
I was a bit apprehensive as it looks a bit commercial with a fridge to one side full of drinks and packages sandwiches and salads, but on closer inspection they look like they are made locally.
I just stopped here for a coffee and pain au chocolat, and I wasn’t disappointed. The coffee was surprisingly good for France. In my opinion it’s almost impossible to find decent coffee anywhere in France but this wasn’t bad. The pain au chocolat though. Well that was delightful. Light and fluffy and with real chocolate, not that weird hardened stuff you find in most places.
It’s worth coming here for the pain au chocolat alone!
