Every bit of what I would want when I go to an Indian restaurant. The décor is dripping with authentic Indian detail. They speak English well enough to translate the menu. «Service is with a smile» and the food was worth the price, delicious and freshly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would go back while I’m here in this part of town.

To begin with: best Indian food I ever had«outside India». We went from California to Paris for vacation and being vegetarians we were starving for some good food, as, Parisians seem to meat lovers and there was hardly any option for vegetarians. Luckily we found this place«Kashmir House» and were amazed to find that somebody could actually cook Indian food as flavorful as you get in India. We ordered Matar Paneer, Chana Daal, Naan, Kashmiri Pulao, Veg Pakoda and Masala Chai/Tea. Surprisingly people in France(or may be Paris) do not eat/like cottage cheese(Paneer) therefore they do not keep paneer. Instead we were served Processed Cheese — Matar, a dish which I had never eaten/heard of or imagined in my life. When I ate it, I could not believe that this innovative dish could taste so much delicious and flavorful than our typical Matar — paneer. We actually called the manager and payed our compliment for introducing us to such a wonderful preparation. Chana Daal had never tasted this good and ah! those Naans; so soft and tasty. The staff spoke with us in Hindi, which made us feel at home and the manager himself attended to us. Ambience was warm and cozy. I would recommend this place to all Indians and Non indians who love Indian food. such delicious Indian food that too in Paris makes this restaurant a must visit place.

We were there for New Year’s Eve dinner and the place did not disappoint. I was a little apprehensive about the place because it could have turned out to be so-so, but it was actually excellent. We chose their 3 course meal and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The place is nice and cozy and it was full. After we were finished with dinner, our server offered us spiced tea, on the house! Food was made properly and the naan were made properly, and fresh. A perfect New Years eve meal. The staff accommodated us and spoke to us in English since neither I nor my girlfriend spoke French.
