I was recently here for a work trip and stayed in the hotel for a month. The staff was friendly, the room was modern, clean and the AC was great! It is within walking distance to so many great sight seeing areas and shopping. The food wasn’t great around the hotel with the exception of a few places but it is a short walk to a larger selection. Also, there is a few small convenience stores near by for additional water for your fridge or snacks… Or wine!

Nice hotel in a very nice section of France. One major thing to be aware of though. The breakfast is super expensive, and they kind of trick you into believing it’s complimentary. I am actually a Priority Club Platinum Elite member, so I certainly expected it to be free. There is a sign at the front desk indicating when breakfast is, and they even mention that room service is free. But there is no mention anywhere as to the cost of the breakfast. When I went to check out, I discovered that breakfast(which is a light continental breakfast) costs E20 a person!!! OMG!!! So buyer beware!

The Holiday Inn Elysses contributed to one of the best stays I had during my trip to Paris. I really couldn’t find a flaw with this hotel, except for a few insignificant minor ones. The staff is all very courteous and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions with joy, even the highly stereotypical touristy ones like«When does the Eifel Tower close?» or «How do I get to the Louvre?» When we needed a taxi at midnight, they got us one in under 5 min with no hesitation. The rooms seem to be brand new. Although a bit small, it was fine for my needs. Everything is highly modern and the beds are HUGE(and not to forget comfy as well). The shower is pretty compact and tends to heavily spill over onto the tile floor, but the shower head is amazing. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms and throughout the entire hotel is awesome as well. Allowed me to make free phone calls back home through a VoIP program. Overall a great little hotel, and not too expensive. Close to the Opera House and the Louvre.
