I have stayed in this hotel in the past multiple times and found it to be centrally located to shopping and metro. Since I have not stayed here in over 5 years I expected the same level of service and conditions. I found the afternoon clerk rude, the manager was no where to be found. The only saving part of our stay was the night clerk remembered me and the morning clerk was very kind and knowledgeable. I think this hotel needs a little sprucing up, its looking very tired, but still in a great location.

I travel to Paris a few times a year on business(I sound so important – I’m not). I usually try to book a place for a decent price within walking distance from Galeries Lafayette and Amarante hits the spot. It’s quite close to a bunch of little, and might I add delicious, restaurants. The pizza place nearby was superb, but I can’t remember the name for the life of me. The rooms are actually a good size, as far as Paris goes, and my bathroom was huge. The only drawback was the old fashioned tub you have to sit in as you use one of those hand held shower-heads. I hate those damn things. The lighting is pretty depressing as well. There is a computer with internet in the lobby, which I always take advantage of. The front desk personnel are helpful and polite. It’s a fine place to stay if you’re not too needy and want to keep a night’s stay below $ 300. I do have to say that I stayed on the first floor and could hear carts rolling up the hallway at night. I watched Taken a few nights before this trip and was slightly afraid someone was going to kidnap me because of the easy access to the street. Obviously, not. And I have an overactive imagination.

Amarante Beau Manoir Hotel situado al lado de Le Madelaine, habitaciones muy pequeñas con un mobilliario que más que de época, es viejo. Buffet correcto. Necesita una remodelación urgente. Caro para lo que ofrece. La parte positiva es la situación.
