Hotel Balzac

I gave 2 stars because the service is great in the hotel. The problem is with the hotel itself. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in NYC and Chicago and this should be a 3 – 4 star max.
–Walls are very thin here! You can hear your neighbors upstairs and to the side at any time, including squeaky beds (gross).
–The shower would back up so we had to shut off mid shower, let it drain and continue
–The bed isn’t that comfy at all.
–Location is great!
–It’s a pretty hotel.
–Air conditioning doesn’t work sometimes.
–free wifi
–no water
–some rooms don’t have an actual shower!!!
There is nothing special about this hotel. Stay at another place, thin walls are important for sleep and privacy. We got engaged here, so this was a special time for us, too bad walls are thin and we couldn’t get any sleep.
