Hôtel Best Western Nouvel Orléans

I ended up at this best western after another local hotel cancelled my reservation. They were so extremely helpful! They got me a great room at a cheaper price than the other hotel. The room was nice and clean with a remarkably large bathroom for Paris. They were very kind about extending our stay after we had trouble with our flights. Even the cleaning staff was extremely nice helping me find a watch that I had lost. Overall everyone here was extremely helpful and the room was very nice. Plus the location is hard to beat for the 14^th. Highly recommended.

Pour les touristes, l’emplacement de l’hôtel est à l’écart d’attractions touristiques majeures, mais il y a une station de métro (Mouton Duvernet sur la ligne 4 accès direct à la Gare du Nord et à Chatelet) juste devant l’immeuble, et une autre située à deux pas d’ici (Denfert Rochereau accès direct aux deux aéroports par RER et à Orly via Orlybus). Il y a également les Catacombes de Paris, la rue Daguerre (j’adore le Café Daguerre, surtout pour le petit-​déj !), et pas mal de restaurants et supermarchés près de l’hôtel.
Le service était accueillant et agréable dans la plupart des cas. Les chambres né sont pas énormes, mais j’ai eu une chambre triple au deuxième étage (si je me souviens bien) avec une salle de bain spacieuse avec des grandes fenêtres qui donnent sur l’avenue du Général Leclerc. Je n’ai pas remarqué du bruit excessif. En gros, c’était un bon point de chute pour une escapade en ville.

It is a very small hotel, and the rooms were tiny. However they were clean, and the staff was very nice. I also like that it was very close to the Metro station, so it was easy to get to all the beautiful sights in the city. So, for that alone, I give it a thumbs up.

En face d’une station de métro cet hôtel est bien situé et vous avez tout un tas des restaurants et magasins aux alentours.
Personnel sympa et prix raisonnables si on réserve sur le net (sites spécialisés)
Par contre l’hôtel pourrait profiter d’une petite rénovation ça lui ferait pas de mal.

This place is convenient in that it’s right by a Metro station. We were placed on an upper floor and the lift was out whilst we stayed. That was a pain. The rooms are very tiny, but then again, it’s Paris. The room was clean and comfortable. From desk staff were pleasant. There is a laundromat near by. The area is OK. I’d stay here again. The Café d’Orleans just down the street was our «local» pub for the time being.

Un hôtel simple, moderne et bien situé
Très bien situé, juste en face du Métro Mouton-​Duvernet et à quelques pas du RER Denfert-​Rochereau. Pratique pour aller à l’aéroport en RER ou à la gare du Nord et pour se déplacer un peu partout dans la ville. Les chambres sont confortables, modernes et très propres avec des grands écrans plats et des salles de bain rénovées. Si vous demandez à être au dernier étage, vous aurez des petits balcons avec une jolie vue. Très bon accueil même si un peu lent. Le quartier a beaucoup de charme, beaucoup de boutiques, de restos, le ciné Alésia juste à côté et presque en face de la rue Daguerre. Un très bon prix pour une chambre à Paris. Dommage que le petit déjeuner soit si cher !

The Best Western Le Nouvel Orleans is located outside the central region of Paris, but in fact is fairly convenient — right opposite the Mouton-​Duvernet metro station, a trip into the city center is a matter of 10 to 15 minutes.
The hotel itself is a rather quaint building, with a bit of character to it. The surrounding area is not bad, lots of restaurants, cafes and places to snack along the sidewalks. There are also several Monoprix (supermarkets) in the nearby area, so you could simply get breakfast from these places instead of the hotel.
Overall, the hotel is decent value for money, the rooms are not bad (not large, but sufficient) and the bed is comfortable.
