Hôtel de l’Avre

Was completely satisfied with the hotel. Great location close to subway stop and within walking distance to Eiffel Tower
Cute and clean rooms. Small but just what you need if you are a tourist. Comfortable bed.
Wifi would shut off every now and then, but other than that it was great.
Would definitely stay again!

Das Hôtel de l’Avre bietet ein gutes Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis mit sehr freundlichem Service, sehr sauberen Zimmern und einem Frühstück, das über das übliche französische Frühstück hinausgeht. Die Lage ist super, da man nach 100 – 200 Metern bereits die Metro mit 3 Linien erreicht. Man sollte rechtzeitig buchen, da das Hotel häufig ausgebucht ist.

I’ve stayed at this hotel on two separate holidays and enjoyed myself both times. It’s in a good location (near a few metro lines) and it’s within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower.
The rooms are really cute and look super French (in my opinion) complete with little balconies so you can look out onto the street and smoke a cigarette. There are small televisions in the room as well as a little desk. The bathrooms are pretty clean, though, on my second visit here, the shower was a bit leaky.
One weird thing is that you have to leave your key with the staff when you leave (I guess so you don’t lose it) and then just ask for it back when you return. It’s a little unsettling though since all we ever did was say our room number and the guy would just hand us the keys. It seems like almost anyone could waltz in and spit out a number and be allowed upstairs with access to anyone’s room! However, we didn’t experience any theft so we were lucky, I suppose.
The staff was really friendly and nice and there’s free wifi. Just ask the front desk for the password.

Hôtel tout en couleur. On commence par le jaune en réception, au vert dans le délicieux jardin pour déjeuner et enfin le bleu, blanc ou jaune pour des nuits douillettes et calmes dans un confort simple mais une atmosphere cosy… Vous né serez pas déçu car en plus il est bien placé…
