Love this hotel! Most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in Europe. The staff speak perfect English and are super nice. We took a lovely walk to the Louvre last evening after dinner. Paris was already my favorite city and this hotel has enhanced the feeling!

I would NEVER recommend this hotel! My family and I planned a trip to Paris for my birthday, three days before arriving in Paris, they emailed me and told me they no longer had room for us in their hotel! They moved us to their sister hotel. We booked Hotel Edouard 7 for the prime location. The sister hotel was not in our desired location nor was it as nice. Edouard 7 did not care that had cancelled our reservation and did not upgrade our room at the new hotel, or compensate us for the inconvenience it caused us. My family and I normally do not complain, but this experience was far from a pleasurable experience! Think twice before booking at this hotel

Edouard VII is a perfectly fine hotel with friendly staff and helpful reception but the rooms are a bit dated and cramped. There was always an unsightly(and very large) supplies cart parked right outside our door that never seemed to be put away. I found that odd. For $ 350/night, I found the hotel to be lacking. Incidentally, it’s also a stone’s throw from a wide range of Japanese restaurants. Who ever thought we’d have Korean food in Paris! Close to the Opera metro stop and within walking distance to the Louvre.

Edouard VII has a perfect setting with balconies overlooking the Opéra Garnier, wonderful ambience and atmosphere. We stayed in one of the balcony suite — absolutely lavish; as a matter of fact if you go to their site and see where the couple is standing we have a photo on the same spot. Their brunch was superior. We had a magnificent time. We couldn’t ask for a better location. The hotel staff was extremely nice and they made reservations for dinners, show and gave us direction to every place that we wanted to visit. Also, they recommended a wine store where we were able to seat and relax while wine tasting.
