I stayed in the hotel from Friday to Sunday February 2016. I’m writing this review so that all customers can be aware. The guy receptionist who works during the day harassed me by trying to force himself on me and tried to kiss me. I later find out that he tried to talk to my friend as well. We were approached separately by him. We felt very unsafe and scared of what this man is capable of. Please beware if you are a woman staying in that hotel. Wouldn’t want anyone to be put in the situation like we were.

Everything has been amazing. From the front desk staff to the breakfast in the morning to our quiet room right off of the patio. This is my first time in Europe but I hear to expect small rooms, however the bathroom is quite, quite small. But I didn’t come here to stay in the bathroom. The only thing we noticed to be a little bit of a problem was navigating our way back to our hotel while out and about in the city. This problem is now fixed now that we both discovered Über for the first time. No complaints staying here. Everything has been exceptional!

Superb stay in a great Paris district. The staff we encountered were very pleasant, the accommodations(while small, even for Europe) were comfortable, clean and well decorated. Perhaps best for couples who travel light and are fairly self sufficient. We did not eat at the hotel, but there are a number of great places to eat nearby.

Well… This is a tough review to complete. We didn’t actively choose this hotel… We booked a semi al la carte trip through Triple AAA. Our agent chose the hotel based on the stars and location. The hotel is in the 17th Arrondissment and not far from all the fun things, but not completely close to them as well. But everything was a bus ride or Metro ride away. The price was about $ 192 a night for a standard room with either 2 Twins or one double bed. Thats about $ 145 Euro. I read all of the reviews on Trip Advisor and was a little hesitant about the place so I emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to «start a relationship» hoping that would earn us some brownie points. No response until my 2nd email and it was a very brief and to the point email. We arrived quite early(9am) and decided to head to the hotel to leave our bags while we traipsed through the city. The woman at the front desk was not rude, but not helpful, very matter of fact and only provided information when directly queried. While in the lobby getting settled, we encountered another American couple who were to say the least NOT pleased with the hotel and actually warned us away since we hadn’t checked in. Not a choice since we had paid in full and had no desire to go researching for another hotel. We arrived back fairly late and were treated to a surprise, Stefan at the front desk was a fount of helpfulness! He whipped out the tourist map and highlighted, mapped out routes and starred where we might want to visit. Complete difference from the first lady. He was also helpful when my mother requested a room change that had a bathtub and referred us to the best dining experience we had in Paris– Bistrot de Mauna Loa one street over. The«lift» was Europe sized I guess and could only fit 1 – 2 people. The bedrooms were very small, but we were prepared for that. They were really small! The best PRO of the hotel was our room décor. They were simply lovely. The bathroom appeared to be redesigned and gorgeous. The shower placement was odd and impossible to actually shower, thankfully it was a hand held and could be used to rinse and the like. Due to the smallness of the hotel, the hallways were very noisy but it didn’t bother us much. Our room included breakfast and the woman in charge of the breakfast was in a similar league with the initial front desk lady, rude and standoffish. At one point my Godmother made a faux pas and the breakfast lady went over to another diner and made the motion of «crazy» referring to my Godmother. «Breakfast» wasn’t our typical American breakfast, but I was prepared for that based on reviews. It was bread, cheese, fruit, cereal, tea etc. Very light stuff but it worked for us. I even made a few cheese sandwiches to snack on later in the day. We stayed for 3 days and nights and aside from Stefan, we consistently encountered«sour staff». I don’t know if it was their normal selves or if it was because we were tourists… but they brought down the quality of our stay. We were prepared for the room size, noise, and breakfast, but not the energy of the staff. I wouldn’t go back because of that reason. On a positive note, on our last day there, a different woman at the front desk was grudgingly helpful and called to make a reservation for us at a restaurant calling after we had left to sight see for the day because the restaurant wasn’t open yet. That was nice. The Internet was free and plentiful which was very nice. There was Wifi and a computer in the lobby. Overall«ok» hotel with sour staff.
