great hotel in Paris. Stayed in Room 100 which had a strange configuration(because it is in the corner), but somewhat spacious. My sister stayed in room 102 which is more standard square configuration. Pros: great service. staff all speak English and are very helpful. They assisted me in getting the right directions to my daily destinations, recommended great restaurants, helped me order a taxi ride back to the airport. Various drinks in the small fridge in the room(replenished daily) are free. Various snacks, desserts, drinks at the lobby everyday are complimentary as well. great location… walking distance to Champs de Elysee. Metro just a few steps away. Starbucks right across the street. Con: Wifi(even though it’s free) is kind of slow. small elevator… only fits up to three adults at most or one adult and luggage. shower only has half a door so very easy to get the whole bathroom wet after showering. We asked the staff about this… apparently, it is the regulation in Paris that shower/tub combination cannot have full glass door enclosure. For the price and all the perks, this hotel provides a very good value. will definitely stay here again next time I travel to Paris.

Love this hotel! What a find. Charming interiors with that great Paris feel. The rooms are actually decent size for Paris and our double twin bed is like a giant King, which is why I chose this hotel. The liunge area has free snacks and beverages and the wifi is free throughout as well. Live this location and many great little places to eat nerby as well. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Was upgraded to Room 101, which was large by Paris standards, with a huge comfy bed, a large wooden desk/table, and assorted interesting furniture. I was greeted by a handwritten note along with a little plate of macarons and other treats as a welcome(though I was sad that they took them away the next morning before I finished them). The bathroom was also a nice size, with the luxurious towel warmer, very much appreciated in cold January. Unfortunately, there is construction going on next door, so it was a little loud, but that isn’t really their fault(also, on Thursdays, the garbage collectors came at 6 something am and the room is on the street, so that is a bit noisy, too). The breakfast which was included with my room had pretty good offerings(including eggs of some sort, breakfast meats, breads, pastries, cheese, fruit, charcuterie, yogurt, and more) and was more than adequate to get me started for the day. I also appreciated that in the afternoons, they had soda and water, along with some fruit or bread or pastries available and complimentary, as a little pick me up before I prepared for the evening. Service was very good and friendly and they were able to help me in English(and patient with my attempts at speaking French to them). The location was wonderful, easy access to the Metro, but I wound up walking to many places. Plenty of shops, traiteurs, coffee shops, restaurants, etc, nearby, and near to sites like the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees(and not that far from Place de La Concorde, Jardins de Tuilleries, Place de Madeleine, etc). The one downgrade I have to give is the WiFi. Absolutely terrible. I kept having to ask for new passwords, kept having to re-enter the passwords, etc, not just in my room but even in the lobby, too. For Paris, where WiFi is widely available, even in some public parks, they really need to upgrade their systems in this modern day– working internet is just such a necessity, especially for a traveler. Despite that, though, I would likely stay there again on my next visit to Paris.

hotel in a good location, but it just cant make up for the fact that the rooms at the front are noisy, and the walls paper thin.

I cant quite find it in myself to rave about this hotel like my colleagues. It is true that you can get a good rate, the décor is cool and the staff is very friendly. And that this alone, for the centre of Paris, should recommend it strongly. However, no amount of friendly chat compensated me for the 1.5 hours I waited for the expensive cheese sandwich I ordered from room service(don’t I live the glamorous life?)! Coolness is one thing, but the basics of business travel also need to be catered for. Maybe this was a one off, and given the hotel’s other attractions and proximity to my office, I may well come back and see.

If you paid the full list price(EUR450/night!) for this hotel, you’d feel a tad ripped off. However, at the discounted EUR120 rate, it’s a great spot. I can’t heap anything but praise on the establishment, particularly because of the fantastic décor and minimalist, but not overly so, furniture. I really felt like I could take some tips for my own place, which to be honest you can rarely say about a hotel If you can get room 503, it’s got a huge bed, and a great balcony!
