If we could give a 4.5 star, we would. But if I had to choose, definitely closer to 5 than 4. This hotel is situated in a perfect location. Close to Notre Dam, Pantheon and jardin du Luxembourg. It was also walking distance to shopping, beautiful streets and all the main museums. Managed to make our way over to the Eiffel Tower as well… walking. It was far to go round trip but you get immersed in the culture and history — so worth it! When we got to the hotel, we had been given an upgrade. Penthouse level, with a very small balcony. I was thrilled! The room is small as others have said, but it’s Paris, what do you expect? I didn’t mind the size, especially given how amazing the shower is! I would love to recreate this shower in my home. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided some great recommendations for restaurants. One of their suggestions: Au Port du Salut — is a must try and get the salmon! All and all, I loved this hotel and would 100% come back here.

This hotel is only a block from the blue line, which goes to both Paris airports. The price was $ 341 a night after taxes. The front desk was always helpful and spoke English. We were warned about the Eastern European pickpockets around the tourist areas and witnessed them in action first-hand. I didn’t realize Paris had such a problem and may have let my guard down(we came from Barcelona) if it wasn’t for the hotel staff. Our room was petite, but I’ve seen much smaller and crappier in Manhattan for the same price. We were on the 5th(top) floor and had a skylight over our bathroom. The rain shower was awesome and lo and behold a European bathroom that has a shower door! Hallelujah! We also had a tiny balcony over Rue St Jacque. You could fit one chair out there if you want, but not two. The bed was comfortable, but the blanket… my God it was hot. And I tried to go under just the top sheet the first night, but then the too small fitted sheet came loose and annoyed me all night. We had a safe in the room. I did not turn the TV on, but it was small. Air conditioning was also very good. We did not try breakfast or the ‘honesty bar’. Why bother when you could walk 200 feet to a wine shop and buy a good bottle for € 8? All in all I was happy with the room, the staff and the location was very good. Close enough to the ultra-tourist areas and the subway, but also near Mouffetard street which has its tourists, but not nearly as many it seemed. Felt more like a busy part of a regular city. It was our favorite place in all of Paris.

Really great hotel in a somewhat quiet neighborhood, but close enough that you won’t starve. I’m not sure what the complaints about room size are all about. Hotel rooms in Paris are small. Hotel rooms outside of the U.S. are small, and it’s just sort of something you deal with. But the bed was comfortable, the shower was incredible(In Paris! This is something very unique) and and service was absolutely stellar. The location leaves a little to be desired, but not the end of the world.

«Petit» is the operative word here. The room I had during a recent week’s stay(on the top floor) was small to say the least. However, the service was courteous and helpful(with a special nod to Karim), the continental breakfast, free wi-fi, and afternoon beverages and snacks all welcome. The location is good, though walks to nearby stations and attractions are hilly. Placement in a lively student district ensures that open establishments can be found late into any evening.

Recently stayed here for a quick 3 night paris jaunt. As the name implies, this is a small boutique hotel with small rooms which is what one expects in paris. In terms of value, I would say it was average with a modern, new,(again it is small) room with good amenities. They had a daily breakfast that we did not try(it cost extra) as we just ate at local bakeries. in terms of location, it is nicely situated near the sorbonne within walking distance of RER, metro, notre dame, etc. The service was also excellent with good restaurant recs, directions, etc. We also enjoyed the free coffee/tea/water in the afternoon/evening. Would definitely recommend for a quick trip.

Here for only 1 night(our last night) in Paris. A big difference from our previous hotel(Les Grands Hommes) where we stayed for 5 nights. Le Petit Paris is a very cute modern boutique hotel located on a small side street in the 5th arrondissement. The rooms are typical Parisian rooms… small and very tight space. We had a room with twin beds and had barely enough room for our suitcases(but again to be expected for Paris). But the beds are super comfy which are wonderful to come back to after a full day of sightseeing and shopping. The bathrooms have a slightly wider glass water guard but I still managed to turn the bathroom into a wading pool after taking a shower. Would be nice to have a little more shelf space in the bathroom but that’s minor. Would definitely return to this hotel in my next visit, providing the price was right(we were trying to stay at or around $ 300USD/night).
