Wonderful and charming hotel. My husband and I spent almost a week there on our honeymoon and loved it. Our room was small and beautiful and the staff was SO helpful and nice. Hotel is within walking distance of major sites like Notre Dame and Saint Michael, but there is also plenty of small local eateries and shops nearby. I would absolutely recommend this to any traveling couple looking for a quaint romantic hotel in Paris. The staff is as amazing as the hotel.

I recently spent six nights at the Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain while in Paris for my 50th birthday. A lot of pre-planning went into the trip in order to secure restaurant reservations, hair appointments, spa treatments, etc. The staff at the hotel were amazing! They truly went out of their way to accommodate all of my requests and helped me secure a number of hard to get dinner reservations and spa appointments. I changed my mind on a number of the hair and spa locations, and they were very accommodating and helpful assisting me with cancellations and rebooking. I come to Paris a lot and have stayed at many hotels in the 6th and 7th arrondissements and can honestly say that the service at the hotel provided by the staff far surpasses that of any other hotel. Everyone is friendly, professional and helpful and go out of their way to help you any way that they can. The location of the hotel cannot be beat, especially if you love shopping and dinning in the 6th or 7th. It’s also extremely close and within walking distance to the Marais(4e), 1st and 8th, some of the major sites and museums(Notre Dame, Louvre, Musée d’ Orsay), and a couple of Metro stops. You could not ask for a more convenient and centrally located hotel! The rooms are super tiny, but clean. If you have allergies be sure to inform the front desk as they spray the room with a fragrance when they clean. I was amazed how quiet the rooms were! A luxury relative to many I’ve stayed in. I can’t recommend the hotel enough and look forward to staying there again the next time I am in paris.

My wife and i stayed here 9÷2−9÷6÷13 for our honeymoon. I emailed the hotel weeks before arrival to see if they offered any honeymoon specials or something I could surprise my wife with. I got a form email in response telling me of tours I could book. It was like they didn’t even read the email. Should have seen this as a sign of things to come Lets start out with the positive: the location. The location is excellent and close to Notre Dame, Saint Michel and the odeon metro. That’s it. The rest of this review is negative First, there is no parking and you are told to park at the public lot down the street which is 40euro a day and the parking structure is horrible with tiny stalls. The hotel is small and has a very dark feel to it. The staff at check in was friendly and the maids were friendly but that is where their service stops. Our room for $ 200 a night was tiny. The bed was hard and our tv did not work. When calling down to the front desk to tell about the TV, the phone cord ripped out of the phone. Our lights flickered constantly in our bathroom and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The petit breakfast for 14euro isn’t worth 5euro and just another example of this hotel sticking it to their customers. This was just the tip of the iceberg though. One of the days we left the«Do Not Disturb» sign on the door only to come back the the sign gone and our room partially made up. Partially because they made the bed but didn’t replace our towels or anything. When i complained that our room was entered, their response was that I should have told the front desk that I didn’t want them to go in. I replied that’s what the sign on the door said. They insisted I was Wrong!!!’ And when i went downstairs later to talk to a manager, the night manager threw his Hands up in the air and said«I don’t know, I wasn’t here» This place is a joke and their customer service is terrible. Way overpriced and they like to tell customers how wrong they are. I expected privacy and got snooping staff instead. Will never return!

Wonderful location, cozy comfortable & clean rooms. Great showers. Quiet street. Very friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast looked wonderful but we preferred to grab a crêpe on the street. Can’t wait to stay there again!

I am at this hotel now. Cozy European rooms — for sure. But comfortable. The staff here is *very* helpful and dispenses great info. Wonderful location on the left bank. Great restaurants and bars. My husband and I relax every night after dinner in the hotel lounge area. So friendly.

After our three-night stay in Paris, my husband and I confirmed that we would stay at this hotel again, so I guess that is worth at least 3 stars. The fourth is for the location, which I know has nothing to do with the hotel, but we just absolutely loved the combination of the daytime shops and quiet, winding streets with the nighttime energy of the bars and restaurants. The hotel is small and there is no impressive lobby or welcome area – you can literally see the front desk(which is really just a desk) from the door. But the décor is warm and charming and the staff is mildly friendly in that reserved, non-American way, and they all seemed to speak enough English to answer any questions we had. Stowing our luggage before check-in meant simply lining up our bags next to the desk and when we came in late at night from a street with more than a few drunken students stumbling around we merely opened the unlocked door and gave our name to the person at the desk, so don’t expect high security(although there was a safe in our room, so at least we knew our passports and laptop were tucked away). Speaking of our room, it was down a narrow hallway and up a curved flight of stairs off of the dining area. We never saw much of the rest of the hotel, so I’m not sure how much bigger it really was. I actually loved our room. It was tiny, but cozy and every nook and cranny seemed to be filled so it felt warm and lived-in. The bathroom was modern with, again, great use of space. A stall shower with sliding glass doors and a slippery bottom made things a little more interesting, but luckily neither of us ever wiped out. L’Occitane toiletries and a heated towel rack were nice touches. To all you firm mattress lovers out there, this might not be the place for you. Our bed was soft, like marshmallow soft, and even though we slept well, my husband definitely had some aches in his back after a couple of nights on that thing. My only complaint about the room was that the walls seemed paper thin. Luckily, though, there was only one time when this was a problem; we were so exhausted most nights that we slept through everything(including our alarm on the last morning, but that’s another story…). Breakfast each morning included pain au chocolate and coffee, so I really didn’t care what else was available – what else does a girl need? It was quiet and relaxing and I could have sat in that little dining room reading for hours. Alas, a short vacation to Paris should not be spent inside a hotel, no matter how warm the atmosphere.
