For the money, fantastic. Front desk staff was very friendly with good English. Rooms were not huge but quite adequate and comfortable. Very short walk to the metro. The only issue i had was the shower — to be specific, the size of the shower was tiny! I know this is a Euro-thing so it would never prevent me from going back here. Some things you just chuckle and deal with. After all, you’re in PARIS, right!!! Would definitely stay here again.

Positive reviews must have come from people who have never stayed at a hotel before. We have traveled the world and this was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at(for the price). The man at the front desk couldn’t even give us directions to get there from the bus station, not helpful or knowledgable at all. The room was too small to even fit my suitcase(really!) and was right next to the very loud street. Our tv only had three working channels and the man did not know how to fix it. Then the day we were checking out the elevator was out of service(apparently happens a lot) so I had to carry my 50 pound suitcase down three flights of narrow winding stairs since there was no one available to help me. We ended up checking out early and paid a couple more euros for another hotel twenty times better!

We stayed here four nights and thought it a wonderful base to explore Paris. A quick 10 minute walk gets you to the Eiffel tower and Rue Cler. Yes, the rooms are small — it’s Paris, you just have to deal with it unless you’re prepared to pay the $$ out the nose for bigger digs. The staff was super nice and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had made separate reservations for consecutive nights, and the staff was very helpful in consolidating the bill at a great price. 5 Stars for this. The water was hot, the toilet worked great and the AC was wonderful. It kept us nice and cool during the night in mid-summer 2012(June 24 – 28). The connections to the Metro of course, are one of the biggest benefits. M8&M8 are both available just steps away @ Cambronne(M6 only) and La Matt– P. Grenelle(M8&M6). The WI-fi was full steam and no connection problems were had. My wife’s iPad worked flawlessly. The breakfast buffet might be a little over-priced for some. We skipped two of our four mornings and ate after some of the near-by restaurants. There’s even a Mickey D’s just a block or two down Grenelle. Finally, the hotel is in a very safe area and we felt very comfortable. The Paris Eiffel Cambronne is a nice place and we look forward to a return visit next year.

There are so many hotels in Paris; don’t stay at this one. The good parts: it’s in a great location and 1 minute walk to 2 Metro stations. The wireless internet is fast and once you log in initially, it doesn’t prompt you again during the stay. The bad parts: everything else. Seriously. My room didn’t look like the pictures on the websites — it’s incredibly small to the point the bed barely fits. It smells. The shower is so small that all you can do is stand still. If you try to even turn around in the same spot, you’ll bump the handle and change the temperature to scalding hot or freezing cold. The night desk attendant wasn’t too polite, and other staff didn’t speak English(at a hotel?). There’s only one elevator and it’s prone to stalls of 15 seconds to several minutes. But the worst thing of all is that I completely lost trust in this hotel on my last day. I stayed for 4 nights, and always put up the Do Not Disturb sign in hotels when I’m staying for a brief period because I don’t want to deal with my things being moved around and because I’m totally fine sleeping in the same sheets for multiple nights. On the 4th day, I came back to find that the Do Not Disturb sign was taken off the door, placed on my bed among my clothes, and that the room had been made up. They intentionally ignored the Do Not Disturb sign. If this had happened before the last day I would have immediately checked out. There are way too many hotels in Paris to risk it with this one.

We stayed here one night but even if we were in Paris for 7 I would recommend it. It is very close to the metro, it is walking distance to the Eiffle Tower and many other great sights and a short cab ride to the rest! The room is small and simple but it encourages you to go out and do things which is good. The staff was super helpful and very nice! I did expect some French resistance because we are American but I did not get any, everyone was super! We had a great time and will be back! It does help to be polite, but that’s true for everywhere.

Bien mais… L’hôtel est dans un quartier sympa, certes, mais pour 150 € la nuit on pouvait ésperer une chambre un peu plus grand que 8m2 ! Sinon c’est propre, bien equipée, le petit déj était bon !
