Hotel Valadon Colors

This hotel was everything I expected. Small, cozy, clean and modern contemporary. It was the best deal I found near the Eiffel Tower. Everything was small compared to the U.S. The bathroom and shower was tiny, the room was quaint, the elevator barely fit two average size people. It’s only 10 mins walking to the Eiffel Tower and 5 mins walking to the nearest subway station to get around the city. We enjoyed the breakfast bar across at their sister hotel, Cadran Hotel. It was a simple continental breakfast with fresh pastry and two espresso/​coffee machine and all the tea you can drink. The reception is also at Hotel Cadran, so we conveniently stopped by for directions or recommendations. The front desk spoke decent English and was very friendly. It also included free Wi-​Fi. I would definitely be back next time.

After leaving Hotel 41 in London, ANY place would seem «simple»… but the fact that I was in Paris, I wasn’t trippin’ off the accomadations (as long as they were clean!) the elevator was LITERALLY so small, me and my friend couldn’t fit in it at the same time with our suitcase! The room was small as well (bathroom almost as small as an airplane bathroom!!) but nicely decorated, excellent location for sightseeing and super nice staff! $ 200 a night is probably a decent rate for Paris, and if you’re not spending alot of time in the room, this is a great choice! Literally walking distance to the eiffel tower!

Super cute, quiet, affordable hotel located right near the metro. Stayed here with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day in 2009 and had a great experience. Definitely check this place out if you are coming to Paris on a budget and want a nice place to call home.

Sympathique petit hôtel dans un quartier chic de Paris, proche de la Tour Eiffel. J’ai séjourné là-​bas 2 nuits en février 09. Les chambres sont grandes et modernes, les lits confortables, le petit-​déjeuner simple et bien (1 croissant au beurre, 1 ballon de pain aux céréales + des confitures maison, thé/​café/​jus), et y’a le WI-​FI! En plus les propriétaires sont super gentils Vraiment un bon rapport qualité-​prix pour Paris (entre 120 EUR pour une single et 180 EUR pour une family room TTC & petit-​déj’), je recommande!

Great choice for a very expensive city. We stayed for four nights late Oct 2008 and Valadon was more than what we expected. Clean, spacious, kind hosts, centrally located, great hand made jam by Mr Victor, sweet puppy Othelo welcomes you. We would definetely go there again and believe me we are not the easiest people on earth!
