IKKS

Of course, of COURSE I fell in love with this stylish, high-​quality, reasonably priced line that is only sold in Paris. Of course I did.
I went into IKKS on a whim while strolling the Champs Elysees. With no intention to purchase anything from this notoriously posh strip of real estate, when the heavens opened up and started to rain down on us, we ducked into the nearest boutique and my oh my was it serendipitous — IKKS had my name written all over it.
With gorgeous options for both men and women, the clothing is of outstanding quality and is very on-​trend without being too trendy. It’s very classic-​meets-​cool and tasteful without being at all boring. I purchased a beautiful dress that’s well-​constructed and nicely tailored — in face, off-​the-​rack it fit to a t.
The service is great, too. I was super impressed with how helpful and relaxed the staff is. When the dress I loved wasn’t in my size on the floor, the woman helping me went and found it in my size and came back with a few more suggestions just in case it didn’t fit.
As I mentioned, everything is priced reasonably, especially for the quality. I feel like I have to return to Paris more often just to get my IKKS fix. Seriously, it’s perfection and if I could have fit the entire store into my suitcase, I totally would have.

I took on a shopping day in Champs Elysees with the wife, and we weren’t going to spend much, but there was this coat that I saw at IKKS, and it seemed to be a brand that was not in the US. It’s a UK brand, but who cares? It was bit expensive, but I got permission to get it, and I’m a proud owner of a coat that isn’t sold in the US, and quite stylish. I loved all their stuff actually. check their website out. I don’t know if they ship out for online purchases, but it’s worth a look if you like this kind of look. I’d say it’s like a Zara, but higher quality and has a bit of a rock n roll edge to some or their look. Anyways, I loved it!
