Il est facile à rater ce mini bar dans le quartier Opéra/​St Anne. Il est charmant ceci dit et porte bien son nom car il est très cozy en taille et en ambiance. Les prix sont plutôt raiso pour le coin.
Seulement 3 étoiles car du coup, vu sa petite taille, on est vite les uns sur les autres si on arrive pas tôt pour squatter les banquettes.
A noter: Une pièce adorable en haut des escaliers, cachée derrière la pancarte Sans Issue qui est en fait un lounge fumoir, presque plus grand que le bar en bas. Ambiance Liaisons Dangereuses, 18ème siècle. La pièce serait parfaite si il y avait de l’aération digne de ce nom, on se croirait 15 ans en arrière quand les bars et clubs étaient enfumés et qu’il fallait tout mettre au lavage en rentrant chez soi. Dommage.
Les serveurs-​euses sont adorables et font même le service au fumoir. Il y a aussi un DJ derrière le bar qui ce soir passait un mix très cool de funk/disco/rap/r&b.
J’y retournerai avec plaisir quand je serai dans le quartier.

This place is easy to miss in the Opera: St Anne neighborhood, but worth a visit.
This bar is cozy in size and ambiance, hence its name, and has all the booze a good bar can offer at reasonable prices for the area.
I am giving it 3 stars only because it is so small that if you don’t get a seat early in the night, it gets too crowded quickly and your enjoyment decreases as quickly as a result.
Interesting bit, there is a hidden smoking lounge behind a door with a No Exit sign. This room is almost larger than the actual bar area downstairs and has an 18^th century Liaisons Dangereuses type of décor. If only they bothered having a good ventilation system! Feels like the bad old days when all teh bars and clubs were so smoke-​filled you had to throw your clothes and yourself in the wash after a night out. Too bad.
Service is friendly, they even provide table service in the smoking lounge upstairs. They also have a DJ. that night he was spinning real cool funk/disco/rap/r&b.
I will def. go back if I am in the area.
